Volgens de in 2023 ge\u00efntroduceerde naamgevingslogica van de fabrikant zijn Audi-modellen met een even nummer elektrisch, terwijl modellen met verbrandingsmotoren een oneven nummer in hun naam hebben. Deze naamgeving behoort echter alweer tot het verleden. In maart komt er weer een nieuwe A6 met verbrandingsmotor op de markt.<\/p>

In 2023 zal de inmiddels afgezette CEO Markus Duesmann kondigde een nieuwe nomenclatuur aan<\/a>. \u201cIn de toekomst zal het zo gaan: De oneven nummers zijn de verbrandingsmotoren en de even nummers staan voor de batterij-elektrische voertuigen,\u201d zei Duesmann in een interview. \u201cDe opvolger van de huidige A4 wordt de A5 genoemd en de huidige A6 wordt de A7 genoemd.
