Volvo Cars had in 2024 voor de tweede keer op rij een recordjaar en rapporteert de hoogste detailhandelsverkopen, inkomsten en kernbedrijfswinst over het hele jaar in zijn 98-jarige geschiedenis. Het bedrijf verwacht echter een turbulent 2025 als gevolg van uitdagende marktomstandigheden.<\/p>

De inkomsten over het hele jaar overschreden voor het eerst in de geschiedenis van het bedrijf SEK 400 miljard (\u20ac 35,2 miljard) dankzij een nieuw verkooprecord aller tijden van 763.389 auto's. De operationele kernwinst over het hele jaar van SEK 27 miljard (\u20ac 2,376 miljard), exclusief joint ventures en geassocieerde deelnemingen, was opnieuw een record en steeg met 6% ten opzichte van 2023.
