In aanloop naar de offici\u00eble wereldpremi\u00e8re op 5 maart, plaagde Volkswagen al verder met twee schetsen op LinkedIn<\/a> van hoe de \u20ac20.000 budget EV van het merk, de ID.1, eruit zal zien. En het erft een aantal van de rechte lijnen van die andere budget VW, de Up!<\/p>

Deze opvolger van de VW Lupo en Up, waarbij de laatste ook verkrijgbaar is als betaalbare elektrische versie onder de naam e-Up!, komt in 2027, een jaar na de ID.2. Nadat eerder al een teaserafbeelding van het front werd getoond, werden twee zijaanzichten van het conceptmodel, de voorloper van het productiemodel, vrijgegeven.<\/p>
