Het Belgische tijdschrift Trends-Tendances meldt<\/a> dat de Spaanse treinbouwer CAF een aanbesteding heeft gewonnen om honderden treinen te bouwen voor de Belgische spoorwegmaatschappij NMBS. De Franse speler Alstom, die stevig verankerd is in Belgi\u00eb, liep het contract ter waarde van meer dan 3 miljard euro mis, ook al was het goedkoper dan de Spaanse concurrent.<\/p>

Volgens de krant La Capital oefent het bedrijf nu politieke druk uit en Thomas Dermine (PS), de burgemeester van Charleroi, roept ook op tot een politieke interventie in de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers over de NMBS-beslissing.<\/p>
