Addax Motors, ooit geprezen als een baken van Belgische innovatie en groene industri\u00eble ambitie, heeft faillissement aangevraagd als enige fabrikant van elektrische bestelwagens van eigen bodem. De aankondiging, die 40 banen op de tocht zet, maakt een bruusk einde aan een gedurfd experiment in duurzame productie dat begon met verheven doelstellingen en lokale trots.<\/p>

Addax, opgericht in 2016 in het West-Vlaamse Deerlijk, was een zeldzaamheid in het Europese EV-landschap: een kleine fabrikant die zero-emissie bedrijfsvoertuigen produceerde en volledig op Belgische bodem assembleerde. De compacte bestelwagens voorzagen in een groeiende vraag van gemeentelijke diensten, stedelijke logistieke dienstverleners zoals DPD en supermarktketens zoals Delhaize en Albert Heijn.
