De Vlaamse regering heeft een akkoord bereikt over infrastructuurinvesteringen met betrekking tot mobiliteit voor de komende jaren. Vlaams minister van Mobiliteit Annick De Ridder (N-VA) wil tijdens de resterende jaren van de legislatuur jaarlijks 2,2 miljard euro uittrekken voor infrastructuur om de mobiliteit te stimuleren.<\/p>

Tot de belangrijkste projecten behoren de Limburgse Noord-Zuidverbinding, het mobiliteitsplan rond Gent en de werken aan de Brusselse Ring. Er is ook geld vrijgemaakt voor de sluizen van Zeebrugge en Antwerpen krijgt zijn veelbesproken dure fietsbrug over de Schelde.<\/p>
