Voor een bedrijf dat tegenwoordig vooral bekend staat om pragmatische gezinsauto's en SUV's, is Skoda onverwacht nostalgisch geworden. Het designteam heeft een concept onthuld dat een van zijn meest geliefde modellen, de 110 R Coup\u00e9 uit de jaren 1970, nieuw leven inblaast, maar met een volledig moderne elektrische draai.<\/p>

De originele 110 R, een coup\u00e9 van achter het IJzeren Gordijn, is misschien niet algemeen bekend, zelfs niet onder autoliefhebbers. De kleine sportwagen had weinig vermogen en liet geen blijvend spoor na in de auto-industrie.
