Na maanden van slinkende leveringen en een groeiend onbehagen over de politieke capriolen van Elon Musk, kruipt Tesla terug. De Amerikaanse autofabrikant heeft niet alleen zijn twee best verkopende modellen, de Model 3 sedan en Model Y crossover, aangepast, maar boekte ook een verkoopherstel in het derde kwartaal van het jaar. Zelfs in Europa trekken de verkopen gedeeltelijk weer aan.<\/p>

Tesla leverde tussen juli en september wereldwijd iets meer dan 497.000 voertuigen af, wat neerkomt op een stijging van 7,4% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar en de verwachtingen van analisten ruimschoots overtrof. Het grootste deel van die groei kwam van de Model 3 en Model Y, die samen met 9,4% stegen tot meer dan 481.000 eenheden.
