De Duitse autolobby komt met een ongebruikelijk idee om de verkoop van plug-in hybrides te stimuleren, nu de EU hun werkelijke uitstoot nauwkeuriger wil meten. Het voorstel? Een wettelijke verplichting voor bestuurders van plug-in hybrides om hun auto regelmatig op te laden. De straf voor het niet naleven van die verplichting is verminderde vermogensprestaties. Een creatieve oplossing, maar maakt deze kans van slagen?<\/p>

Het plan wordt gesteund door Hildegard M\u00fcller, hoofd van de Duitse Vereniging van de Automobielindustrie (VDA).
