Uber heeft dinsdag bekendgemaakt dat het van plan is om 100.000 zelfrijdende voertuigen in te zetten op zijn ride-hailingplatform. Het bedrijf werkt hiervoor samen met de Amerikaanse chipfabrikant Nvidia, die de computersystemen gaat leveren die deze voertuigen zullen aandrijven. De betrokken autofabrikanten zijn Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, Lucid en mogelijk nog andere.<\/p>

Het nieuwe platform voor autonoom rijden van Nvidia, Drive AGX Hyperion 10, zal worden ingebouwd in voertuigen van verschillende fabrikanten.
