Een nieuwe\u00a0In de haven van Oostende werd vrijdag een waterstoftankstation voor schepen officieel ingehuldigd. <\/span>Jera Nex BP ontwikkelde het waterstoftankstation en in de beginfase zal slechts \u00e9\u00e9n schip er gebruik van maken: de Windcat 48, die groene waterstof gebruikt om van de haven van Oostende naar een windmolenpark in de Noordzee te varen.<\/span><\/p>

Het Waterstoftankstation van Oostende wil een kritieke leemte opvullen in de stroom van groene waterstof van productie naar maritieme gebruikers, en fungeert als een proof of concept van wat mogelijk is in het koolstofvrij maken van offshore wind op zee.<\/p>
