De Vlamingen De regering heeft de aanscherping van de lage-emissiezones (LEZ) definitief afgeschaft. <\/span>Aanvankelijk was het plan om vanaf 2026 dieselauto's met de Euro 5-norm en benzineauto's met de Euro 2-norm uit Antwerpen en Gent te weren. In september besloot de Vlaamse regering echter om deze aanscherping op te schorten. Deze opschorting is nu bevestigd.<\/span><\/p>

Het Grondwettelijk Hof heeft onlangs het uitstel van strengere regels voor lage-emissiezones (LEZ) door de Brusselse regering nietig verklaard. Het oordeelde dat het uitstellen van eerder goedgekeurde beperkingen in strijd was met het grondwettelijke \u201cstandstill-beginsel\u201d ter bescherming van de volksgezondheid en het milieu.<\/p>
