De Franse treinfabrikant Alstom is van plan om vanaf medio 2026 150 banen te schrappen in zijn fabriek in Brugge. Eerder dit jaar verloor Alstom een grote treinorder van de Belgische spoorwegmaatschappij NMBS\/SNCB, die koos voor het Spaanse bedrijf CAF. De vakbonden vreesden dat dit zou leiden tot banenverlies in de fabriek in Brugge, en mogelijk zelfs tot de sluiting ervan. Die vrees lijkt nu werkelijkheid te worden.<\/p>

Tijdens een bijzondere vergadering van de ondernemingsraad heeft de directie besloten om \"organisatorische veranderingen\" door te voeren in de fabriek in Brugge.
