Volgens gegevens van de Vereniging van Europese Autofabrikanten (ACEA) steeg het aantal nieuwe autoregistraties in de EU in 2025 met 1,8% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar. Het totale aantal blijft echter ruim onder het niveau van v\u00f3\u00f3r de pandemie. In december groeide de markt voor nieuwe auto\u2019s in de EU met 5,8%.<\/p>

Het marktaandeel van batterij-elektrische auto's bereikte 17,4%, in lijn met de prognoses voor dat jaar, maar nog steeds een niveau dat ruimte laat voor groei om op schema te blijven met de overgang.
