Volgens gegevens van Febiac en de Federale Overheidsdienst Mobiliteit daalde het aantal inschrijvingen van nieuwe wagens in Belgi\u00eb en Luxemburg met 18,7% tot 32.997, in vergelijking met vorig jaar. Febiac geeft aan dat de nieuwe Euronorm die op 1 januari werd ge\u00efnstalleerd hierbij een rol speelt: de inschrijvingen werden gedeeltelijk vervroegd naar december 2025.<\/p>

Febiac hoopt dat het succes van het Autosalon van Brussel ook de commerci\u00eble impact zal hebben die het altijd heeft gehad, en dat de komende maanden dit zullen aantonen. Met 42,7% van alle inschrijvingen blijven benzineauto's op de eerste plaats staan, maar in een markt die met bijna 20% daalde, groeiden de batterij-elektrische auto's (BEV's) nog met 2%. Met een marktaandeel van 36,7% naderen BEVS deze benzine ICE-auto's.<\/p>
