Op het eiland Malta, Ze pakken de verkeersopstoppingen aan met een opmerkelijke maatregel: jonge bestuurders (van 18 tot 30 jaar) krijgen 25.000 euro als ze hun rijbewijs voor vijf jaar inleveren. De Maltese regering heeft deze maatregel ingevoerd om het groeiende aantal auto\u2019s op de weg terug te dringen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

De nieuwe regeling werd in januari ingevoerd en geldt alleen voor inwoners van 30 jaar of jonger die een eigen personenauto hebben en ten minste zeven jaar rijervaring op Malta. <\/span>Iedereen die zijn rijbewijs inlevert, ontvangt gedurende vijf jaar een jaarlijkse uitkering van ten minste 5.000 euro.<\/span><\/p>
