Toyota heeft de C-HR+ gelanceerd, een nieuwe elektrische SUV uit het C-segment. Hoewel hij zijn naam deelt met de hybride SUV die 10 jaar geleden op de markt kwam, is hij eigenlijk gebaseerd op de grotere bZ4X en dus volledig elektrisch. Dankzij de relatief grote batterij en het compacte formaat heeft hij een WLTP actieradius van meer dan 600 km, een record voor een Toyota EV.<\/p>\n

De C-HR+ maakt deel uit van Toyota's plan om zijn batterij-elektrische aanbod uit te breiden in meerdere segmenten<\/a>. De bZ4X en grotere bZ4X Touring<\/a> het D-segment al bedienen, terwijl de Stedelijke cruiser<\/a> probeert klanten uit het B-segment aan te trekken.<\/p>\n

In Noord-Amerika is de Hooglander EV<\/a> wil grote gezinnen verleiden. Dit nieuwste aanbod richt zich op het C-SUV-segment, een van de populairste in Europa, vooral voor elektrische voertuigen.<\/p>\n

Kortere bZ4X<\/h4>\n

Technisch gezien is de Toyota C-HR+ gebaseerd op hetzelfde e-TNGA-platform als de bZ4X. En net als zijn grotere broer heeft hij ook een Subaru-tweelingbroer: de Uncharted. Met een lengte van 4.520 mm is hij aan de grotere kant van het C-SUV-segment, met een goede balans tussen praktische bruikbaarheid en een handzaam formaat.<\/p>\n

Tot 607 km WLTP<\/h4>\n

Onder de motorkap biedt Toyota drie aandrijflijnen. Het basismodel is FWD met een 57,7 kWh batterij en een 167 pk motor, die een WLTP actieradius tot 458 km biedt. De tweede versie vergroot het vermogen naar 224 pk en de accucapaciteit naar 77 kWh. Dit geeft de C-HR+ een WLTP actieradius tot 607 km, de grootste van alle batterij-elektrische auto's van Toyota.<\/p>\n

AWD met meer vermogen maar minder bereik<\/h4>\n

De C-HR+ AWD ten slotte krijgt dezelfde grote batterij, maar met twee elektromotoren en 343 pk. Dit is ook de snelste variant, die in 5,2 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/u accelereert. Hij heeft ook de grootste trekcapaciteit van 1.500 kg (750 kg voor de FWD 77 kWh versie) en de snelste AC-lader aan boord (22 vs. 11 kW). Maar hij verliest ongeveer 100 km WLTP actieradius ten opzichte van de FWD door het extra gewicht en de grotere wielen.<\/p>\n

Alleen een beetje goedkoper dan zijn grotere broer<\/h4>\n

In Belgi\u00eb heeft Toyota ervoor gekozen om de aandrijflijnvarianten te koppelen aan de uitrustingsniveaus. Het basismodel van de C-HR+ is verkrijgbaar vanaf \u20ac42.500 en is daarmee slechts \u20ac2.300 goedkoper dan de grotere bZ4X.
