Lynk & Co verlegt zijn elektrische ambities naar een nieuw, extremer gebied. De nieuwe 10+, een high-performance sedan die deze week in China werd onthuld, transformeert de toch al opvallende Z10 in een bijna-supercar rivaal, met ongeveer 900 pk en een geclaimde 0-100 km\/u sprinttijd van minder dan 3 seconden.<\/p>\n

Het is in alle opzichten een halo-auto, ontworpen om zowel technologische kracht als volume te genereren.<\/p>\n

De 10+ staat bovenaan een sedan line-up die steeds complexer wordt. De kern wordt gevormd door de Z10, de eerste volledig elektrische executive sedan van het merk, die Lynk & Co's langverwachte stap naar volledig elektrisch terrein markeerde, zoals eerder gemeld.<\/p>\n

Segment met hoge prestaties<\/h4>\n

Waar de Z10 het teken was van de intrede van het merk in het batterij-elektrische tijdperk, duwt de 10+ die ambitie nu naar het high-performance segment, met een dubbele motoropstelling die ongeveer 900 pk levert, een topsnelheid van 240 km\/u en een sprint van minder dan drie seconden naar 100 km\/u.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast biedt de Z10 zelf een actieradius tot ongeveer 800 km (CLTC) en een vermogen dat de 800 pk benadert in de topspecificaties. De line-up wordt gecompleteerd door de 10 EM-P, een plug-in hybride variant voor markten waar volledige elektrificatie nog beperkt is.<\/p>\n

Met een uitsluitend elektrische actieradius van ongeveer 150-200 km en een totale actieradius van meer dan 1.000 km is die versie waarschijnlijk het meest relevant voor Europa.<\/p>\n

Geloofwaardig merk voor EV?<\/h4>\n

De nieuwe 10+ slaat een andere weg in. Hij versterkt de technische basis van de Z10 met een dubbele motoropstelling, agressieve aerodynamica en een ultrasnelle laadarchitectuur, waardoor hij stevig de concurrentie aangaat met auto's als de Tesla Model S Plaid, Porsche Taycan Turbo S en Audi RS e-tron GT. Het gaat niet zozeer om de praktische kant van de zaak, maar meer om Lynk & Co te positioneren als een geloofwaardig merk voor EV's die prestaties leveren.<\/p>\n

Die ambitie is opmerkelijk binnen het bredere ecosysteem van Geely, waar Zeekr steeds meer wordt gepositioneerd als het vlaggenschip van de groep op het gebied van premium EV's. Tegen die achtergrond lijkt Lynk & Co een complexere rol voor zichzelf uit te stippelen, waarbij het verder gaat dan zijn oorspronkelijke mobiliteitsgerichte identiteit in de richting van een meer conventionele - maar nog steeds niet volledig gedefinieerde - premium positionering.<\/p>\n

Ontregelaar van mobiliteit met Alain Visser<\/h4>\n

Die verschuiving is belangrijk omdat ze plaatsvindt op een moment dat Lynk & Co zelf een bredere transformatie ondergaat in Europa. Het merk werd oorspronkelijk gelanceerd als een disruptor op het gebied van mobiliteit, met de Belgische topman Alain Visser als charismatische frontman.<\/p>\n

Zijn visie was radicaal: een auto als dienst, niet als product. Klanten konden zich maandelijks abonneren, hun auto delen met anderen en de lasten van eigendom helemaal vermijden. Het concept sloeg aan en in de beginjaren koos een grote meerderheid van de Europese klanten voor een abonnement.<\/p>\n

Maar het model bleek moeilijk schaalbaar. Eind 2025 bevestigde het bedrijf dat het helemaal zou stoppen met abonnementen, wat niet alleen het einde van een product, maar ook van een filosofie betekende. Een verschuiving die er in feite toe leidde dat Lynk & Co afstand deed van het concept waarop het als kernbedrijfsmodel was gebouwd.<\/p>\n

Belangrijk is echter dat het idee van delen zelf niet verdwijnt. De in-app autodelen functionaliteit van Lynk & Co blijft beschikbaar, waardoor eigenaren hun voertuigen kunnen verhuren. Wat verandert is de rol: van een centraal bedrijfsmodel naar een optionele functie binnen een meer conventionele, op eigendom gebaseerde aanpak.<\/p>\n

Wat het merk ooit definieerde als een pionier op het gebied van mobiliteit, wordt nu geherpositioneerd nu Lynk & Co overschakelt op een meer traditionele retailstrategie om schaalgrootte en winstgevendheid in Europa te bereiken.<\/p>\n

\u2018Airbnb bouwen binnen Hilton\u2019<\/h4>\n

Visser, die in 2023 \u2018terugtrad\u2019 om \u2018andere kansen na te jagen\u2019, had het merk opgebouwd rond het idee van gedeelde mobiliteit en verminderd eigendom - een concept dat Lynk & Co zelf ooit heeft omschreven als het achterlaten van eigendom.<\/p>\n

Hoewel Visser zelf grotendeels uit de schijnwerpers is gebleven sinds zijn vertrek, heeft hij zich niet afzijdig gehouden van het mobiliteitsdebat. In een recente LinkedIn-post blikte de Belgische manager terug op zijn ervaring en zei hij dat \u201chet opnieuw vormgeven van mobiliteit vanuit de auto-industrie is als het bouwen van Airbnb binnen Hilton,\u201d en voegde eraan toe dat hij nu \u201cwerkt aan het bouwen van iets nieuws van buitenaf\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n

Die houding staat in schril contrast met de terugkeer van Lynk & Co naar meer traditionele verkoopmodellen. De opmerking onderstreept hoe ver Lynk & Co is afgeweken van zijn oorspronkelijke visie. Terwijl de voormalige architect het eigenaarschap zelf in twijfel blijft trekken, kiest het merk nu voor een meer conventionele weg.<\/p>\n

Tegenwoordig herpositioneert het bedrijf zich onder nieuwe leiding als een meer conventionele premiumfabrikant, breidt het zijn dealernetwerk uit en richt het zich op directe verkoop en leasing.<\/p>\n

Zal de 10+ ooit Europa halen?<\/h4>\n

Europa blijft een belangrijke maar uitdagende markt, waar het merk aanwezig is in landen als Belgi\u00eb, Nederland en Duitsland, maar nog steeds op zoek is naar schaalgrootte en winstgevendheid.<\/p>\n

Tegen die achtergrond roept de 10+ een belangrijke vraag op: zal zo'n krachtig vlaggenschip ooit Europa halen? Op korte termijn lijkt dat onwaarschijnlijk.<\/p>\n

De meest realistische kandidaat voor Europese introductie is de 10 EM-P hybride, die beter aansluit bij de huidige infrastructuur, prijsverwachtingen en regeldruk. De Z10 zou later kunnen volgen als volledig elektrische auto, afhankelijk van hoe Lynk & Co omgaat met tarieven en marktpositionering.<\/p>\n

Voor Belgi\u00eb, waar het merk sterke historische banden heeft - niet in het minst door de vroege invoering van het abonnementsmodel - is de verschuiving vooral symbolisch.
