Volvo heeft de productieklare generatie van zijn elektrische trucks aangekondigd. Het vlaggenschip, de FH Aero Electric, is nu verkrijgbaar met een grotere volledig elektrische actieradius van 700 km. Ondertussen krijgen de FH, FM en FMX Electric een vernieuwde aandrijflijn met een actieradius tot 470 km en flexibelere toepassingen.<\/p>\n

Volvo Trucks vervolgt zijn weg als wereldleider in elektrische trucks voor zwaar gebruik. Na de aankondiging van de 600 km FH Aero Elektrisch<\/a> vorig jaar, heeft de Zweedse fabrikant nu de definitieve specificaties onthuld, met een nog groter bereik dan eerder aangekondigd.<\/p>\n

Bereik tot 700 km<\/h4>\n

De nieuwe Volvo FH Aero Electric met verlengde actieradius heeft tot acht batterijpakketten die een e-as aandrijven, waardoor de effici\u00ebntie toeneemt en er meer ruimte is voor extra batterijcapaciteit. Met een capaciteit van maximaal 780 kWh kan de elektrische truck met groot bereik tot 700 km rijden op \u00e9\u00e9n lading.<\/p>\n

Afgezien van de Tesla Semi<\/a>, die meer dan 800 km haalt maar nog steeds niet overal verkrijgbaar is, doet geen enkele andere elektrische truck het beter. De andere referentie in dit segment, de Mercedes eActros 600<\/a>, haalt 500 km op een volle lading, maar heeft ook een veel kleinere accucapaciteit van 600 kWh.<\/p>\n

Modulaire batterij en opladen met megawatt<\/h4>\n

Natuurlijk kunnen klanten kiezen voor minder accucapaciteit om het totale laadvermogen te verhogen. Volvo kondigt een laadvermogen tot 28 ton aan bij een bruto totaalgewicht van 48 ton. Een e-as met dubbele motor van 460 kW (623 pk) achteraan levert het vermogen via een zesversnellingsbak, gebouwd voor snelwegeffici\u00ebntie.<\/p>\n

De Volvo FH Aero Electric met verlengd bereik is ook compatibel met het Megawatt Charging System (MCS), maar accepteert momenteel alleen tot 700 kW. Opladen van 20 tot 80% duurt ongeveer 50 minuten met de grootste batterij, 10 minuten langer dan aanvankelijk was aangekondigd. Tot slot maakt een elektrische aftakas het mogelijk om koeltrailers aan te sluiten zonder een aparte dieselgenerator.<\/p>\n

Verbeterde elektrische trucks voor regionaal werk<\/h4>\n

Naast het vlaggenschip, de FH Aero Electric met grotere actieradius, heeft Volvo Trucks ook vernieuwde versies van de FH, FM en FMX Electric aangekondigd. Ze krijgen een volledig nieuwe aandrijflijn met een actieradius tot 470 km, gebouwd rond een andere configuratie met dubbele motor en een achttraps versnellingsbak.<\/p>\n

Deze aandrijflijn is meer bedoeld voor regionale distributie, zware toepassingen en bouwwerkzaamheden. Met een beschikbaar vermogen tot 540 kW (731 pk) heeft de FH Electric 4\u00d72-trekker een laadvermogen tot 23,8 ton, terwijl speciale GCW-combinaties tot 65 ton mogelijk zijn. Een verbeterde aftakas maakt het mogelijk om aangedreven hulpapparatuur te gebruiken tijdens het rijden.<\/p>\n

Omdat deze trucks echter ontworpen zijn voor meer regionaal transport, is MCS-compatibiliteit niet beschikbaar. De 2026 Volvo FH, FM en FMX Electric zijn beperkt tot 350 kW CCS-lading, wat ongeveer 65 minuten duurt om op te laden van 20% tot 80%.<\/p>\n
