Hyundai heeft de Ioniq 3 onthuld, een compacte elektrische hatchback tussen de kleinere Inster en de grotere Ioniq 5 in. De Koreaanse fabrikant noemt het een \u2018Aero Hatch\u2019, met een uiterlijk ge\u00efnspireerd op een oudere sport hatchback. Het is ook het eerste model van Hyundai met een volledig nieuw interieur.<\/p>\n

Hyundai kondigde de komst van de Ioniq 3 al aan met te Concept Three vorig jaar<\/a>. Het uiterlijk was ge\u00efnspireerd op de oude Veloster, een 3+1-deurs hatchback die tot 2018 in Europa en tot 2022 in Noord-Amerika werd verkocht. Nu is het productiemodel onthuld met hetzelfde \u2018Aero Hatch\u2019-uiterlijk, met de belofte van praktische bruikbaarheid in een kleine voetafdruk.<\/p>\n

Compact formaat, maar valt toch op<\/h4>\n

Met slechts 4,15 meter is de Ioniq 3 veel kleiner dan de Ioniq 5 (4,66 m) en komt hij qua afmetingen dichter in de buurt van de Inster (3,83 m). Het silhouet van de Aero Hatch belooft volgens Hyundai een ideale balans tussen aerodynamica en binnenruimte. Van opzij gezien is de Ioniq 3 traditioneler gevormd dan de unieke C-stijl en achterkant doen vermoeden.<\/p>\n

Gloednieuw interieurconcept<\/h4>\n

Binnenin verrast de Hyundai Ioniq 3 ook. Het is het eerste model in de reeks met een geheel nieuw Pleos Connect infotainmentsysteem op basis van Android Automotive. Het grotere 12,9- tot 14,6-inch scherm vervangt het oude 12,3-inch breedbeeldsysteem dat al een paar jaar in vrijwel elke Hyundai zit.<\/p>\n

Hiermee kun je externe apps installeren, waardoor je je telefoon niet meer hoeft aan te sluiten (hoewel je dat nog steeds kunt doen) om diensten als Spotify te gebruiken. Een kleiner display voor de bestuurder is hoog boven het stuur geplaatst, waardoor een faux head-up display ontstaat, terwijl er fysieke knoppen blijven voor de meeste essenti\u00eble functies.<\/p>\n

Ruime kofferbak met Megabox<\/h4>\n

Zelfs met zijn compacte formaat belooft Hyundai voldoende ruimte voor de achterpassagiers, inclusief een vlakke vloer die gemakkelijk plaats biedt aan een derde persoon. Maar de echte verrassing komt van de kofferbak, die voorzien is van een 119-liter \u2018Megabox\u2019 die ook te vinden is in modellen als de Ford Puma Gen-E<\/a>, MG4 stedelijk<\/a>, en Cupra Raval<\/a>. De extra lage laadvloer cre\u00ebert een totaal laadvolume van 441 liter met alle stoelen op hun plaats, een indrukwekkend resultaat voor een auto van dit formaat.<\/p>\n

400V platform en tot 496 km bereik<\/h4>\n

Technisch gezien is de Hyundai Ioniq 3 gebaseerd op de E-GMP 400V architectuur van de groep. Vanaf de lancering zijn er twee configuraties beschikbaar: een Standard Range versie met 42,2 kWh batterijcapaciteit en 344 km WLTP actieradius, of een Long Range variant met 61 kWh en een actieradius tot 496 km.<\/p>\n

Snelladen duurt in beide gevallen ongeveer 30 minuten. En beide modellen hebben een voormotor met respectievelijk 147 of 135 pk. Binnenkort wordt ook een Ioniq 3 N met dubbele motor en vierwielaandrijving verwacht, waarschijnlijk gebaseerd op de Kia EV3 GT.<\/p>\n

Vanaf ongeveer \u20ac 30.000?<\/h4>\n

Hyundai heeft de prijs van de Ioniq 3 nog niet bekendgemaakt, maar we kunnen een vanafprijs van rond de \u20ac 30.000 verwachten, wat hem net onder de Kona Electric en Ioniq 5 plaatst.
