Aan het einde van een bezoek van een week aan India presenteerde Fran\u00e7ois Provost, CEO van Renault Groep, \u2018futuREady India\u2019, een Indiase roll-out van de futuREady strategisch plan dat afgelopen maart werd onthuld.<\/a><\/p>\n

Renault Group lanceert \u2018futuREady India\u2019, de lokale uitrol van zijn nieuwe strategische plan om de groei zowel lokaal als wereldwijd te stimuleren en tegelijkertijd de engineering- en productiecapaciteiten te versterken om op lange termijn wereldwijd concurrerend te blijven.<\/p>\n

\u201cMet futuREady, onze nieuwe visie, versnelt Renault Groep zijn internationale groei door voort te bouwen op markten met een groot groeipotentieel waar de Groep al sterk aanwezig is. India, waar we al vijftien jaar gevestigd zijn, is hiervan een goed voorbeeld: het vertegenwoordigt meer dan een derde van het groeipotentieel op de markten waar het merk Renault al actief is. India is klaar om niet alleen een groeimarkt te worden, maar ook een centre of excellence en een exporthub,\u201d zegt Fran\u00e7ois Provost, CEO van de Renault Groep.<\/p>\n

\u201cDankzij de inzet en expertise van onze lokale teams zal het de algemene concurrentiekracht van de Groep versterken. Dertig jaar geleden begon de Renault Groep aan zijn eerste golf van internationale expansie. Met futuREady openen we een nieuw tijdperk in ons wereldwijde groeiverhaal, en India zal daarin centraal staan!\u201d voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

Grootste productgedreven offensief<\/h4>\n

In India blijft Renault Group zich richten op de groei van een klantenbasis die voorrang geeft aan voertuigen met een aantrekkelijk design, geavanceerde boordtechnologie\u00ebn en ge\u00eblektrificeerde aandrijflijnen, met de ambitie om tegen 2030 tot de wereldwijde top drie van markten voor het merk Renault te behoren.<\/p>\n

\u201cTegen 2030 zullen we in India een portfolio van zeven modellen aanbieden in belangrijke segmenten, van compacte auto's tot grotere SUV's, met een volledig spectrum van ge\u00eblektrificeerde aandrijflijnen, van sterke hybrides tot volledig elektrische voertuigen\u201d, zegt St\u00e9phane Deblaise, CEO van Renault Group in India.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoor gebruik te maken van engineering van wereldklasse, concurrerende productie en een duidelijke, ambitieuze product roadmap, is India klaar om een belangrijke aanjager van duurzame waarde voor de Renault Groep te worden,\u201d voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

Vier voertuigen maken deel uit van de line-up om tegen 2030 een totaal van zeven voertuigen te bereiken, waaronder de Renault Duster, die in januari 2026 werd onthuld en nu al veel enthousiasme opwekt bij Indiase klanten. Als onderdeel van de futuREady aankondigingen, presenteerde de Groep ook Bridger Concept,<\/a> die een voorproefje geeft van een nieuwe compacte SUV uit het B-segment, een echt multi-energievoertuig inclusief een elektrische versie.<\/p>\n

De zeven voertuigen zullen gebaseerd zijn op twee complementaire platformen: RGEP (multi-energieplatform, instapmodel) en RGMP small (modulair platform, B- & C-segment), die beide als eerste op de Indische markt worden ingezet en ontworpen zijn met een multi-energieaanpak om naar behoefte verbrandingsmotoren, inclusief hybrides, en elektrische aandrijflijnen aan te bieden.<\/p>\n

Tot slot wil het merk zich ook onderscheiden op de markt door zijn betrokkenheid bij zijn Indiase klanten te versterken. Met het initiatief Renault Forever wil de Groep een duurzame relatie opbouwen op basis van vertrouwen, servicekwaliteit en een vereenvoudigde klantervaring. Indiase klanten zullen met name profiteren van 7 jaar garantie.. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Technologie- en exportknooppunt<\/h4>\n

In Chennai heeft de Groep een van zijn grootste engineeringcentra ter wereld, met 6000 ingenieurs en IT-specialisten op het gebied van voertuigarchitectuur, software, simulatie en upgrades van de levenscyclus van voertuigen. Deze vestiging gaat nu een grotere rol spelen binnen de Groep door platforms, voertuigarchitecturen en technologie\u00ebn te ontwikkelen voor projecten in India en op de wereldmarkt.<\/p>\n

Op industrieel vlak is Renault Groep nu volledig eigenaar van zijn productiefaciliteit in Chennai, wat zijn vermogen om de productie te lokaliseren, de integratie van leveranciers te verdiepen en de toeleveringsketens van begin tot eind te optimaliseren aanzienlijk versterkt. Door gebruik te maken van de sterke concurrentiepositie van India op het gebied van inkoop, wordt deze industri\u00eble voetafdruk ontwikkeld tot een strategisch exportknooppunt voor voertuigen, onderdelen en aanverwante diensten naar andere regio's van de Renault Groep, met name Zuid-Amerika.<\/p>\n

De Groep heeft de ambitie om tegen 2030 jaarlijks 2 miljard euro te exporteren vanuit India, met inbegrip van voertuigen, O&O en onderdelen.<\/p>\n
