Dat is de conclusie van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/articles\/modernising-the-eus-rail-ticketing-regulation\">nieuw onderzoek door T&amp;E<\/a> (Transport &amp; Environment), waaruit blijkt dat het op bijna de helft van de drukste internationale vliegroutes in de EU moeilijk of onmogelijk is om dezelfde reis per trein te boeken.<\/p><p>De NGO onderzocht de 30 drukste internationale vliegroutes binnen de EU om te bepalen of het treinalternatief gemakkelijk te boeken was. Op 20% van deze routes konden passagiers bij geen enkele spoorwegmaatschappij tickets voor de hele reis kopen. Op nog eens 27% van de routes konden passagiers dergelijke tickets alleen verkrijgen bij een van de deelnemende spoorwegexploitanten.
