De Estse multinational Bolt introduceert 1.200 nieuwe e-scooters in Brussel. De Bolt 7 heeft een ingebouwd scherm met navigatiebegeleiding en drie AI-toepassingen zullen ook helpen om ongepast rijgedrag aan te pakken.<\/p>\n

Uiteindelijk zal de hele Bolt-vloot van 4.000 gedeelde e-scooters in Brussel worden vervangen. \u201cWe vernieuwen niet alleen onze vloot; we introduceren technologie voor veiligere straten, duidelijkere instructies voor gebruikers en we geven steden tools om gedeelde mobiliteit beter te beheren\u201d, zegt Alexis Hiernaux van Bolt Benelux.<\/p>\n

Rijden op stoep moeilijker<\/h4>\n

De nieuwe Bolt 7, het vorige model, de Bout 6<\/a>, werd ge\u00efntroduceerd in 2023 en heeft een ingebouwd, relatief groot scherm op het stuur. De bestuurder kan afslag-voor-afslag aanwijzingen en de snelheid op het scherm zien, en het kan lokale waarschuwingen weergeven, zoals waarschuwingen voor gevaarlijke weersomstandigheden.<\/p>\n

Dit betekent dat je je beter op de weg kunt concentreren, dus het maakt een einde aan het constante gefriemel met smartphones tijdens het rijden - wat technisch gezien verboden is, maar veel gebruikers doen het toch.<\/p>\n

De Bolt 7 heeft ook een koplamp die vier keer helderder is dan voorgaande modellen en ook de remmen zijn verbeterd. Hij heeft ook een iets lager stuur, waardoor hij comfortabeler en toegankelijker is voor een bredere groep gebruikers.<\/p>\n

Maar het meest opmerkelijk is misschien wel de AI-technologie die wordt gebruikt om de twee meest voorkomende klachten over gedeelde e-scooters aan te pakken: rijden op de stoep en illegaal parkeren.<\/p>\n

Als een gebruiker op de stoep rijdt, geeft de e-scooter eerst een waarschuwingssignaal. Als de gebruiker doorrijdt, remt het apparaat automatisch af. In bepaalde gebieden kan de e-scooter ook voetgangers in de buurt detecteren.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast kan de Bolt 7 ook afzetzones herkennen. Gebruikers worden op het scherm naar de juiste parkeerzones geleid en het systeem waarschuwt wanneer ze een zone met beperkte snelheid, zoals een voetgangerszone, binnenrijden.<\/p>\n

Volgende doel: zelfrijdende auto's<\/h4>\n

Naast Dott is Bolt een van de twee aanbieders van gedeelde e-scooters in de hoofdstad, waar de e-scootermarkt de afgelopen jaren sterk gereguleerd is. Brussel is ook de eerste Belgische stad die de Bolt 7 introduceert, naast rollouts in Duitsland en Zwitserland.<\/p>\n

Naast micromobiliteit, rijdt<\/a>, Bolt biedt ook carsharing aan en bezorgt maaltijden en kruidenierswaren. Het bedrijf is actief in meer dan 850 steden in meer dan 50 landen in Europa, Afrika, Azi\u00eb en Latijns-Amerika.<\/p>\n
