Een BMW i5 M60 xDrive sedan, geassembleerd in de fabriek in Dingolfing, is de twee miljoenste volledig elektrische auto van BMW Group. De jubileumauto gaat naar een klant in Spanje. Ondertussen onthulde Group CEO Oliver Zipse dat er al meer dan 50.000 voorbestellingen zijn voor de iX3 \u2018Neue Klasse\u2019.<\/p>\n

De fabriek in Dingolfing begon in 2021 met de serieproductie van volledig elektrische auto's met de BMW iX. Vandaag de dag bouwt de fabriek de breedste reeks BEV modellen binnen de BMW Group: de BMW iX, de BMW i5 sedan en touring, en de BMW i7.<\/p>\n

Sinds 2021 zijn er al meer dan 320.000 volledig elektrische voertuigen gebouwd op de locatie in Neder-Beieren. Dit betekent dat bijna elke zesde van de in totaal twee miljoen BEV's van BMW Group uit Dingolfing komt. In 2025 is meer dan een kwart van de voertuigen die in de fabriek in Dingolfing worden geproduceerd volledig elektrisch.<\/p>\n

Technologie-open en flexibel<\/h4>\n

Als onderdeel van de BMW iFactory blijft de BMW Group een technologie-open benadering nastreven in zijn fabrieken: auto's met verschillende aandrijflijnen worden flexibel geproduceerd in een gemengde samenstelling op \u00e9\u00e9n enkele productielijn.<\/p>\n

\u201cSinds enkele jaren rolt er minstens \u00e9\u00e9n volledig elektrisch model van de band in elke fabriek van de Duitse BMW Group,\u201d zegt BMW trots in zijn persbericht. \u201cE-mobiliteit is het nieuwe normaal geworden in het hele productienetwerk van de onderneming. Daarmee levert de BMW Group een belangrijke bijdrage aan het feit dat Duitsland vandaag de dag de op \u00e9\u00e9n na grootste productielocatie voor elektrische auto's ter wereld is.\u201d<\/p>\n

iX3 zeer succesvol<\/h4>\n

Tijdens BMW's laatste kwartaalcijfers onthulde CEO Oliver Zipse dat er al meer dan 50.000 voorbestellingen zijn voor de eerste Neue Klasse in Europa.<\/p>\n

\u201cDe lancering van de iX3 is uiterst succesvol verlopen. Nog maar een paar weken geleden, in maart, overhandigden we de eerste BMW iX3 aan klanten in heel Europa. De afgelopen weken heeft het model ook de showrooms in de hele regio bereikt. De voorbestellingen in Europa overschrijden nu de 50.000 eenheden, wat de grote belangstelling voor deze auto onderstreept. Verdere uitrol over de Amerikaanse en Aziatische markten is gepland voor de komende maanden.\u201d<\/p>\n

BMW heeft de prijzen en technische details van de nieuwe iX3 50 xDrive in de VS en Canada bevestigd. Het eerste Neue Klasse productiemodel begint bij $61.500 in de VS en 75.900 CAD in Canada. De iX3 50 xDrive, het eerste Neue Klasse-model in serieproductie, komt op 25 september op de Amerikaanse markt. Voor Canada geeft de autofabrikant geen exacte datum, maar geeft alleen aan dat \u201cde Canadese marktintroductie in het najaar van 2026 zal plaatsvinden\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n

BMW heeft al reserveringen voor de iX3 geopend via zijn online configurator in Noord-Amerika. Klanten in de VS kunnen de auto reserveren met een aanbetaling van $1.000 vooruitlopend op levering, terwijl er in Canada ac \u2018a fully refundable $500 reservation fee\u2019 is.<\/p>\n

De elektrische SUV rolt momenteel van de band in Debrecen, Hongarije, waar al een tweede productieploeg is gestart om aan de vraag te voldoen. Het is in Hongarije dat de autofabrikant in eerste instantie ook eenheden voor de Noord-Amerikaanse markt zal produceren, voordat de productie naar Mexico wordt verplaatst. De productiefaciliteit in San Luis Potos\u00ed zal naar verwachting pas medio 2027 in gebruik worden genomen.<\/p>\n
