Scania is een samenwerking aangegaan met de Deense betonleider Unicon om een volledig elektrische betonmixertruck te ontwikkelen. Bij de ontwikkeling is vooral aandacht besteed aan de aandrijving van de betontrommel door de hoogspanningsbatterij van de truck om een continue werking te garanderen, zelfs in moeilijke omstandigheden.<\/p>\n

Nu elektrische trucks steeds meer gemeengoed worden, staan fabrikanten voor de uitdaging om ook nicheklanten te bedienen met ge\u00eblektrificeerde oplossingen om hun wagenpark koolstofvrij te maken. We hebben het volgende gezien elektrische bouwtrucks<\/a>, mijnbouwtrucks, en <\/a>vuilniswagens<\/a>, en nu heeft Scania haar oplossing voor betonmixers onthuld. Het is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Unicon en Liebherr, dat de betonmixers maakt die op de trucks worden geplaatst.<\/p>\n

De duivel zit in de details<\/h4>\n

Een van de grootste uitdagingen bij het elektrificeren van een betonmixertruck is de hoge energiebehoefte. De mixer zelf moet blijven werken, of de truck nu rijdt, stilstaat of over ruw terrein rijdt.<\/p>\n

De sleutel tot het succes van dit elektrische systeem, waarbij alles op de hoogspanningsbatterij werkt, is de elektrische aftakas (ePTO). In plaats van energie te halen uit de aandrijflijn van een conventionele truck, tapt de ePTO rechtstreeks in de batterij om de betontrommel van energie te voorzien. De ontwikkeling van dit systeem heeft volgens Scania drie jaar geduurd.<\/p>\n

Unicon heeft er al 10 meer besteld<\/h4>\n

Dat gezegd hebbende, Scania's elektrische betontruck is niet de meest effici\u00ebnte e-truck ter wereld. Hij haalt een bereik van 200 km uit een 400 kWh batterij. Maar hij is sowieso niet bedoeld voor langeafstandstransporten: hij moet vooral het beton op een betrouwbare manier van het depot naar de bouwplaats brengen.<\/p>\n

En dit is niet alleen een proof-of-concept. Met dit ontwikkelingswerk is Scania klaar om meer klanten een kant-en-klare oplossing te bieden. Unicon heeft al toegezegd om nog eens 10 elektrische voertuigen aan te schaffen, met de intentie om emissievrij betontransport te realiseren tegen 2035.<\/p>\n
