Het bedrijf heet voortaan Redion.<\/p>\n<p>De nieuwe merknaam omvat het wereldwijde Care-platform van de verzekeringsgroep Generali, dat de activiteiten van Europ Assistance en Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) samenbrengt onder \u00e9\u00e9n identiteit en \u00e9\u00e9n aanbod.<\/p>\n<h4>Van reisverzekering tot mobiliteitsoplossingen<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cGenerali Care is een wereldwijd, ge\u00efntegreerd platform dat speciaal is ontworpen om uitgebreide zorg te bieden in alle aspecten van het leven van mensen\u201d, zegt Giulio Terzariol, Group Deputy CEO van het Italiaanse Generali. Het zal een hels karwei zijn om Redion te introduceren als een even bekende opvolger \/Europ Assistance<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>Voor klanten verandert er niets<\/h4>\n<p>Redion is actief in meer dan 190 landen, heeft meer dan 12.000 werknemers en genereert een jaaromzet van 5,8 miljard euro. Generali positioneert zich in de markt als de wereldwijde leider in employee benefits en de wereldwijde nummer twee in assistance services en reisverzekeringen - Allianz wordt algemeen beschouwd als 's werelds grootste reisverzekeraar.<\/p>\n<p>De rebranding wordt de komende maanden ge\u00efntroduceerd. Vanaf oktober blijft alleen Redion bestaan. Voor bestaande klanten heeft de naamsverandering van het bedrijf geen enkele invloed op procedures, contracten of dekking.<\/p>\n<p>Europ Assistance werd in 1963 opgericht in Frankrijk en begon een jaar later in Belgi\u00eb te werken. Vanaf het begin organiseerden ze ook medische repatri\u00ebringen, wat revolutionair was in de jaren 1960. De Belgische activiteiten zijn goed voor een omzet van 142,9 miljoen euro.<\/p>\n<p>De relatie tussen Europa Assistance en Generali bestaat al vanaf het allereerste begin.
