Volgens de krant De Tijd heeft het moederbedrijf, Connect Group, uiteindelijk de stekker eruit getrokken.<\/p>\n<p>Enovates heeft enkele honderdduizenden laadstations ge\u00efnstalleerd in heel Europa en veel beheerders van laadpunten maken zich zorgen over toekomstig onderhoud. De oplaadstations van Enovates staan bekend om hun uitstekende kwaliteit, maar als de productie stopt en het bedrijf failliet gaat, wie levert er dan in de toekomst reserveonderdelen en onderhoudsdiensten?<\/p>\n<h4>Vanaf 2012<\/h4>\n<p>Enovates werd in 2012 opgericht door Bart Vereecke als pionier in oplaadfaciliteiten. Tot 2023 was Enovates een groeiend bedrijf, maar toen Shell Recharge plotseling stopte, omdat de oliemaatschappij zich terugtrok uit deze markt, ontstonden er al snel problemen. Shell Recharge was goed voor de helft van de omzet van Enovates.<\/p>\n<p>De fabrikant werd aanvankelijk gered van een faillissement door de Nederlandse Connect Group, maar de groep heeft nu definitief de stekker eruit getrokken vanwege de oplopende verliezen in de afgelopen jaren. Zoals al eerder vermeld, heeft Enovates meer dan 300.000 particuliere laadstations in heel Europa, en verschillende grote operators, zoals TotalEnergies, Interparking en EnergyVision, hebben veel van haar producten ge\u00efnstalleerd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hebben ongeveer 1.000 Enovates-laadstations die werken op de openbare weg of thuis voor particulieren\u201d, zegt CEO Maarten Michielssens van EnergyVision in De Tijd. In het Verenigd Koninkrijk had Enovates een deal met Nissan om de mogelijkheden van V2G (vehicle-to -grid) te onderzoeken. \u201cHet had echt uitstekende technologie\u201d, zegt Michielssens.<\/p>\n<p>Oprichter Bart Vereecke is opnieuw op zoek naar potenti\u00eble investeerders om de activiteiten opnieuw op te starten, zodat ten minste de bestaande infrastructuur kan worden behouden en bestaande contracten kunnen worden opgevolgd.
