Vehicle-to-grid staat al enkele jaren \u201com de hoek\u201d. Veel EV-eigenaren kijken er reikhalzend naar uit, omdat EV's van de tweede generatie de technologie bijna allemaal standaard aanbieden. Deze week kwamen er verschillende aankondigingen tegelijk - in Denemarken, Duitsland en Nederland - die suggereren dat de hoek eindelijk is omgedraaid.<\/p>\n

De nieuwste leden zijn: Polestar en de Deense laadprovider Clever. Beide bedrijven lanceerden gisteren een V2X-pilot om te testen of EV-batterijen actief het elektriciteitsnet kunnen stabiliseren, het huis van stroom kunnen voorzien of het licht aan kunnen houden tijdens een stroomstoring. Geselecteerde Deense huishoudens ontvangen een DC wallbox die bidirectioneel opladen ondersteunt. \u201cVi tester fremtiden\u201d zegt de sticker. Oftewel: \u201cWij testen de toekomst\u201d. Dit specifieke project loopt tot de herfst van dit jaar, met een commerci\u00eble toepassing in 2027 als doel.<\/p>\n

Drie gebruikssituaties<\/h4>\n

Polestar en Clever testen tegelijkertijd drie specifieke use cases: Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) om de vraag van huishoudens te dekken tijdens perioden met piekprijzen en Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) om stroom terug te leveren wanneer het net dat nodig heeft.<\/p>\n

De derde is de eilandmodus. Deze houdt het huis draaiende tijdens een storing. Clever merkt op dat er al meer dan 600.000 grootschalige batterijen over de Deense wegen rijden, met pakketten die meestal meerdere keren de capaciteit van een thuisopslagsysteem bieden. Dat is een serieuze back-up. Het gebruik van elektrische auto's versnelt snel in Denemarken, na Noorwegen, waar acht van de tien verkochte auto's emissievrij zijn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De Clever-software laadt de auto op wanneer de elektriciteitsprijzen het laagst zijn en stuurt de auto terug naar het huis wanneer de prijzen pieken, meestal aan het begin van de avond.<\/p>\n

Duitsland en Nederland<\/h4>\n

Duitsland is al commercieel gegaan. Begin dit jaar lanceerden BMW en E.ON 's lands eerste V2G-product voor particuliere klanten. De BMW iX3 levert energie terug via de BMW Wallbox Professional, waarbij E.ON 24 cent betaalt per uur dat de auto is aangesloten en klaar is, plus 40 cent per ontladen kWh. Het resultaat: tot 14.000 kilometer gratis per jaar en tot 720 euro aan jaarkrediet. Volkswagen Bedrijfswagens heeft een project aangekondigd voor de laatste maanden van dit jaar in Hamburg.<\/p>\n

Vorige week, Vattenfall Nederland lanceerde een V2G-pilot<\/a> met Kia en Hyundai. Tot 80 huishoudens met een Kia EV9 of Hyundai Ioniq 9 ontvangen een gratis bidirectionele lader en tot 500 euro energievergoeding.<\/p>\n

Frankrijk was eigenlijk de eerste die ondersteund bidirectioneel opladen lanceerde met de Renault 5 E-tech.<\/p>\n

Netspanning<\/h4>\n

Dus nee, V2G is niet nieuw. Maar het tempo is zeker aan het veranderen. Het is geen toeval dat een heleboel projecten vlak na elkaar worden ge\u00efmplementeerd. Het weerspiegelt de druk op het net door de groei van de EV-vloot, waarbij de extra batterijcapaciteit van elektrische auto's strategisch interessant wordt.<\/p>\n

De auto is niet langer alleen een verbruiker van energie, maar ook een mobiele energiecentrale. Of dat echte inkomsten oplevert voor bestuurders of vooral ten goede komt aan netbeheerders - en wie de kosten van de batterijdegradatie op zich neemt - zijn nog vragen die beantwoord moeten worden. Maar voor bestuurders, huishoudens en kleine bedrijven die al energie opwekken met zonnepanelen, biedt de groeiende lijst van V2X-projecten prikkelende nieuwe vooruitzichten.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
