Normaal gesproken werden de LEZ boetes voor Euro 5 diesel en Euro 2 benzine voertuigen ingesteld om in werking te treden in Brussel op 7 juni, maar de datum is weer uitgesteld. Brussel Minister van Financi\u00ebn Dirk De Smedt (Anders) heeft nu bevestigd dat de boetes kunnen worden ge\u00efnd vanaf 1 juli.<\/p>\n

Meer specifiek riskeren 13.219 voertuigen die al een waarschuwing hebben gekregen een boete vanaf die datum als ze een nieuwe overtreding begaan.<\/p>\n

Administratieve vertragingen<\/h4>\n

Chaos heerst<\/a> als het gaat om de Brusselse LEZ. Normaal gesproken werden Euro 5 dieselvoertuigen en Euro 2 benzinevoertuigen vanaf 1 januari 2026 niet meer toegelaten tot het Brussels Gewest.<\/p>\n

Iedereen die betrapt werd door een flitspaal kreeg daarom eerst een waarschuwingsbrief en had daarna drie maanden de tijd om zich eraan te houden, omdat de eerste boete van \u20ac350 pas drie maanden na de eerste overtreding wordt uitgeschreven.<\/p>\n

Die overgangsperiode, waarin alleen waarschuwingen werden uitgedeeld, zou aflopen op 1 april. Eind maart liet minister van Financi\u00ebn Dirk De Smedt (Anders) echter weten dat Brusselse fiscus nog geen boetes kon uitschrijven voor de nieuwe voertuigcategorie.<\/p>\n

Begin april besloot de Brusselse regering dat de boetes op 7 juni van kracht zouden worden, maar op voorwaarde dat de technische obstakels voor het innen ervan zouden worden opgelost.<\/p>\n

Boete van \u20ac350, vergezeld van een kennisgeving<\/h4>\n

Minister De Smedt heeft nu bevestigd dat de boetes echter pas vanaf 1 juli ge\u00efnd kunnen worden. \u201cOm precies te zijn, vanaf 1 juli zullen alle voertuigen die onder de 2025 mijlpaal vallen (d.w.z. Euro 5 diesel en Euro 2 benzine voertuigen), en die eerder dit jaar een waarschuwing hebben gekregen - dat wil zeggen bij een tweede overtreding -, zoals afgesproken binnen de regering, een boete krijgen van \u20ac350, vergezeld van een aanmaning,\u201d verduidelijkte minister De Smedt.<\/p>\n

In die bijlage zal worden vermeld dat de boete gelijk is aan een jaarpas die 12 maanden geldig is en dat een verzoek om betaling in termijnen kan worden ingediend bij de belastingdienst van Brussel.<\/p>\n

Er zijn al meer dan 13.000 waarschuwingen verstuurd<\/h4>\n

Volgens De Smedt vallen meer dan 600.000 voertuigen in heel Belgi\u00eb in de beoogde categorie\u00ebn, waarvan er 23.300 geregistreerd zijn in het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest, waaronder ongeveer 15.000 personenwagens.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast zijn er dit jaar al 13.219 waarschuwingen verstuurd. Deze voertuigen lopen dus het risico om vanaf 1 juli beboet te worden.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
