Polestar is officieel de toestemming ontzegd om vanaf 2027 auto\u2019s te verkopen in de Verenigde Staten. Nadat het merk zich vanwege de geringe acceptatie uit China had teruggetrokken, loopt de fabrikant van luxe elektrische auto\u2019s nu ook het risico de op \u00e9\u00e9n na grootste automarkt ter wereld te verliezen. Het bedrijf zal zich grotendeels op Europa richten. Maar dat is nog steeds het domein van de Duitse premiummerken.<\/p>

Polestar produceert auto\u2019s in de VS \u2013 de 3 wordt namelijk gebouwd in de Volvo-fabriek in Charleston \u2013 maar volgens de huidige wetgeving is dat geen garantie meer voor toegang tot de markt.\u00a0<\/span>Het Amerikaanse Bureau of Industry and Security had de commerci\u00eble vergunning voor het merk geweigerd op grond van de Connected Vehicle Rule (CVR).
