Als in maart aangekondigd<\/a> Bij de presentatie van zijn strategisch plan voor 2030 breidt Dacia zijn assortiment in het C-segment uit met de Striker. Ondertussen kan Dacia\u2019s bestseller, de Sandero, eindelijk worden besteld met de 155 pk sterke hybride motor die bekend is van andere, duurdere Dacia-modellen.<\/p>\n

Striker is ontworpen als aanvulling op de Bigster en is een crossover met hetzelfde Dacia-DNA, dat door Dacia wordt omschreven als \u2018Robuust & Outdoor, Essentieel maar Cool, Eco Smart\u2019. Dacia hoopt dat het model zal bijdragen aan de ambitie van het merk om het aandeel van het C-segment in de totale verkoop tegen 2030 te verhogen van 20% naar 33%. In dit segment valt natuurlijk meer winst per auto te behalen dan in de kleinere segmenten.<\/p>\n

\u201cDe Dacia Striker combineert het beste van drie werelden,\u201d verklaart Dacia. \u201cDe hoge zitpositie en de offroad-capaciteiten van een SUV, de veelzijdigheid en het gebruiksgemak van een stationwagen, en de zuinigheid en prestaties van een sedan.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMet een bijzonder uitgebreid aanbod aan multi-energie elektrische aandrijflijnen biedt de Striker de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding in zijn segment, wat het unieke aanbod van het merk Dacia nog verder versterkt\u201d, vervolgt de fabrikant. De Striker zal in Belgi\u00eb verkrijgbaar zijn vanaf \u20ac 25.000.<\/p>\n

Crossover<\/h4>\n

De Dacia Striker is meer dan alleen een combinatie van categorie\u00ebn; het doel is om een evenwicht te vinden tussen de verschillende gebruiksdoeleinden en verwachtingen van de klanten. \u201cDoor de prestaties van een sedan, de binnenruimte van een stationwagen en het robuuste ontwerp van een SUV te combineren, biedt hij een uitgebreider en relevanter antwoord op de behoeften van vandaag\u201d, aldus Dacia.<\/p>\n

David Durand, ontwerpdirecteur bij Dacia, zei: \u201cDe Striker is een nieuw en aanvullend antwoord op de huidige verwachtingen in de automobielsector, gebaseerd op een evenwicht dat verschilt van dat van conventionele SUV\u2019s. Het exterieurontwerp is opgebouwd rond \u00e9\u00e9n centraal kenmerk: een strakke schouderlijn die de voor- en achterlichtunits met elkaar verbindt en de carrosserie als geheel structuur geeft. Deze lijn vormt de ruggengraat van het ontwerp, waardoor een duidelijke interpretatie op twee niveaus mogelijk is en de tweeledige aard van het voertuig tot uiting komt.\u201d<\/p>\n

De Striker is tevens het eerste voertuig dat is uitgerust met Dacia\u2019s nieuwe \u2018T\u2019-vormige LED-lichtsignatuur, die op de vier hoeken van het voertuig is aangebracht. \u201cHet crossover-ontwerp van de Striker combineert dynamische lijnen met royale afmetingen voor comfort in het interieur en een indrukwekkende uitstraling op de weg.\u201d<\/p>\n

Het crossover-concept komt tot uiting in de afmetingen van de Striker. Dit voertuig is 4,62 m lang, vergelijkbaar met een stationwagen uit het C-segment. \u201cHoewel de bodemvrijheid gelijk is aan die van een SUV uit het C-segment (20 cm voor de 4\u00d74 en 19 cm voor de 4\u00d72), is hij slechts 1,53 m hoog, terwijl SUV\u2019s uit het C-segment doorgaans meer dan 1,60 m hoog zijn, waardoor de rijprestaties meer lijken op die van een sedan\u201d, aldus het persbericht.<\/p>\n

Slim interieur<\/h4>\n

Het dashboard sluit qua ontwerp aan bij het exterieur en heeft een opvallende horizontale indeling, wat bijdraagt aan een gevoel van ruimte en een omhullend comfort. Voor een duidelijk en intu\u00eftief gebruik is het dashboard opgebouwd uit drie niveaus: van de functies die het dichtst bij de gebruiker staan tot de structurele en technische kenmerken.<\/p>\n

Het eerste niveau, dat zich het dichtst bij de gebruikers bevindt, is gericht op comfort en waargenomen kwaliteit. Het tweede niveau hanteert een meer functionele, gestructureerde aanpak, en het derde niveau, dat iets verder naar achteren ligt, biedt toegang tot de interface en de weergavefuncties.<\/p>\n

Het interieur is ontworpen om een gevoel van openheid en ruimte te cre\u00ebren, wat wordt benadrukt door een panoramisch glazen dak dat het grootste deel van de ruimte beslaat. Het dak is gebaseerd op geavanceerde technologie en bestaat uit glas met een lage emissie; door het gebruik van meerdere lagen en onzichtbare filters wordt de thermische en akoestische isolatie van het passagierscompartiment verbeterd.<\/p>\n

Er is uitgebreid gewerkt aan het algehele comfort van de Striker, met name wat betreft de geluidsisolatie, een punt van kritiek bij bijvoorbeeld de Duster.<\/p>\n

De zorgvuldig ontworpen stoelen zorgen voor nog meer comfort voor de passagiers. De ingenieurs van Dacia hebben ook veel aandacht besteed aan het ontwerp van de kofferbak. Met een inhoud van maximaal 600 liter biedt de kofferbak tal van praktische voorzieningen, waardoor hij ideaal is voor dagelijks gebruik.<\/p>\n

\u2018Eco Smart\u2019, voor lage totale eigendomskosten (TCO)<\/h4>\n

Een van de belangrijkste doelstellingen van de ingenieurs van Dacia bij het ontwerpen van de Striker was het realiseren van de laagste TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in vergelijking met andere modellen uit het C-segment, zowel SUV\u2019s als stationwagens. Er is bijzondere aandacht besteed aan de aerodynamica en de effici\u00ebntie van de ge\u00eblektrificeerde aandrijflijnen.<\/p>\n

De Striker is verkrijgbaar met drie aandrijflijnen, dezelfde als die van zijn SUV-broer, de Bigster: \u00e9\u00e9n \u2018mild hybrid\u2019 en twee hybride varianten. De eerste is een bi-fuel-model en kan ook op LPG rijden, een unieke functie die Dacia bij veel van zijn modellen aanbiedt.<\/p>\n

De tweede aandrijflijn is de Hybrid 155, die een 1,8-liter Atkinson-viercilindermotor combineert met een elektromotor via een ingenieus transmissiesysteem zonder koppeling, dat tot 15 versnellingen biedt.<\/p>\n

De derde optie combineert de 1,2-liter driecilinder-benzinemotor voorin met een elektromotor achterin, waardoor vierwielaandrijving mogelijk wordt. In het kader van zijn \u2018Eco Smart\u2019-aanpak streeft Dacia er bovendien naar om in de Striker een groter aandeel duurzame materialen te gebruiken.<\/p>\n

Ook de Sandero wordt hybride<\/h4>\n

De Sandero van Dacia is al jarenlang een bestseller, en nu breidt de fabrikant zijn aanbod van hybride aandrijvingen uit naar zijn meest betaalbare model. De Hybrid 155-aandrijving zal vanaf september beschikbaar zijn voor zowel de standaard Sandero als de Stepway-variant.<\/p>\n

Deze hybride aandrijving wint aan populariteit onder Dacia-klanten, wat waarschijnlijk de belangrijkste reden is waarom Dacia het aanbod naar zoveel mogelijk modellen wilde uitbreiden. In 2025 bestond al een kwart van de verkochte Dacia\u2019s uit hybride modellen, een verdubbeling ten opzichte van het voorgaande jaar.<\/p>\n

Het instapmodel van Dacia is in Europa, en ook in Belgi\u00eb, een icoon geworden. Sinds 2017 is het de best verkochte auto onder particuliere kopers in Europa, en ook in Belgi\u00eb is het de afgelopen vijf jaar de bestseller onder particuliere kopers gebleven.<\/p>\n
