Xpeng is maandag in China begonnen met het geven van voorproefjes van de G9L-SUV, waarmee het bedrijf zijn inzet op de markt voor grote SUV\u2019s verder versterkt na het vlaggenschipmodel GX. De Chinese fabrikant van elektrische voertuigen (EV\u2019s) noemt de G9L een \u201cwereldwijd technologisch vlaggenschip met vijf zitplaatsen\u201d, waarmee het een nieuwe SUV is die gericht is op de wereldmarkt na de GX<\/a> en de Mona L03<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Xpeng verklaarde dat de G9L bedoeld is als \u201ctechnologische maatstaf\u201d in het Chinese segment van 300.000 yuan (\u00b1 39.000 euro). Het bedrijf heeft nog geen prijs of lanceringsdatum bekendgemaakt, maar heeft aangegeven in de loop van de tijd meer details te zullen vrijgeven.<\/p>\n

De Xpeng G9L heeft eerder in China, tijdens het binnenlandse typegoedkeuringsproces, de belangrijkste specificaties bekendgemaakt. De G9L is een full-size SUV met afmetingen van 5120\/1999\/1795 mm. De wielbasis bedraagt 3.100 mm. Het interieur is uitsluitend verkrijgbaar in een uitvoering met vijf zitplaatsen. Op deze manier voorkomt Xpeng interne concurrentie tussen de G9L en de onlangs gelanceerde GX met zes zitplaatsen.<\/p>\n

De G9L deelt de kerntechnologie van het platform met deze GX; \u201cHet model is standaard uitgerust met een veiligheidsredundantieontwerp van luchtvaartkwaliteit en is ontwikkeld volgens de vijfsterrenveiligheidsnormen van de vier grootste veiligheidsbeoordelingsinstanties ter wereld\u201d, aldus het bedrijf. Het gaat hierbij vermoedelijk om EuroNCAP, C-NCAP, ANCAP en Global NCAP.<\/p>\n

450 km in negen minuten<\/h4>\n

De Xpeng G9L is uitgerust met een vierwielaandrijving met twee elektromotoren: een elektromotor van 160 kW (215 pk) op de vooras en een elektromotor van 270 kW (362 pk) op de achteras. Het gecombineerde piekvermogen bedraagt 430 kW (577 pk). Deze vijfzitter haalt een topsnelheid van 200 km\/u. Vertegenwoordigers van het merk benadrukten dat dit model is gebaseerd op het 800V-platform. Hierdoor kan de auto in negen minuten voldoende worden opgeladen voor een actieradius van 450 km.<\/p>\n

Men kan kiezen uit twee NMC-accu\u2019s van 91,9 kWh en 110 kWh, die volgens de Chinese norm een actieradius van 672 tot 805 km beloven. Een redelijke voorlopige schatting van de actieradius volgens de Europese WLTP-norm zou ongeveer 560 tot 650 km bedragen.<\/p>\n

Uit de documenten blijkt ook dat de G9L verkrijgbaar zal zijn in een versie als elektrisch voertuig met verlengd bereik (EREV), waarmee Xpeng zijn strategie met twee aandrijflijnen voortzet. Het voertuig is uitgerust met een 1,5-liter turbobenzinemotor met een vermogen van 110 kW\/150 pk, die uitsluitend als generator fungeert. Deze wordt vervolgens gecombineerd met een LFP-accu van 63,3 kWh.<\/p>\n

He Xiaopeng, voorzitter en CEO van Xpeng, verklaarde maandag op Weibo dat het project drie jaar geleden werd goedgekeurd, met als doel een vijfzits vlaggenschip-SUV met geavanceerde technologie voor de wereldwijde markt te bouwen.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn vergelijking met de 99% uit het segment van 300.000 yuan is de G9L veiliger, technologisch geavanceerder en mooier,\u201d zei hij.<\/p>\n

Door AI aangestuurde stoeltechnologie<\/h4>\n

Het voertuig introduceert een door AI aangestuurde adaptieve stoeltechnologie die is ontworpen voor alle lichaamsbouwtypes, met 91 in de stoelen ingebouwde druksensoren die gewichtsveranderingen van slechts 2 gram kunnen detecteren en zich met \u00e9\u00e9n druk op de knop automatisch aanpassen aan de houding, voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

De fabrikant verklaarde verder dat de G9L het snelste resultaat in de elandtest binnen zijn klasse heeft behaald en dat het hele modellengamma standaard is uitgerust met een toonaangevend slim chassis.<\/p>\n

In de teaservideo\u2019s zijn ook een koelkast met twee temperatuurzones, zero-gravity-stoelen, digitale koplampen met AI-projectietechnologie, een kofferbak van 1.152 liter en vier elektrisch bedienbare deuren te zien.<\/p>\n

Het exterieurontwerp is gebaseerd op de nieuwste designtaal die door de eerder genoemde GX is ge\u00efntroduceerd. De G9L beschikt over verborgen deurgrepen, elektrisch bediende deuren met soft-close-functie, een gesloten voorkant, uitgesproken achterspatborden en grote 22-inch wielen.<\/p>\n

De releasedatum van de Xpeng G9L is nog niet bekendgemaakt. Uit de activiteiten van het merk blijkt echter dat de lancering op handen is. Volgens CNEVpost heeft de Chinese fabrikant in juli wereldwijd 38.027 voertuigen afgeleverd, een stijging van 3,57% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar, maar een daling van 5,23% ten opzichte van juni. In de eerste zeven maanden bedroeg het totale aantal leveringen 204.004 voertuigen, een daling van 12,78% ten opzichte van een jaar eerder.<\/p>\n
