Volgens een analyse van de milieulobbygroep Transport & Environment hebben acht grote oliemaatschappijen, waaronder Shell, BP, TotalEnergies, Eni, Repsol, OMV, Orlen en Moeve, in het tweede kwartaal van 2026 gezamenlijk een gecorrigeerde winst van ongeveer 25,8 miljard euro gerapporteerd.
