Li Shufu, de oprichter van Geely, trekt zich terug uit de beursgenoteerde autofabrikant nu deze zijn groei in Europa versnelt. Hij draagt het voorzitterschap over aan An Conghui en de functie van CEO aan Gan Jiayue, maar blijft voorzitter van moedermaatschappij Zhejiang Geely Holding.<\/p>

Dit valt samen met een ingrijpende verandering in de internationale strategie van Geely. De groep wil niet langer voornamelijk vertrouwen op de export vanuit China.
