Wat op 14 september nieuw lijkt te zijn, is dat de bestellingen worden geopend en, nog belangrijker, dat de commerci\u00eble details bekend worden gemaakt.<\/p>\n<p>Renault Nederland meldt nu al expliciet dat de bestellingen op 14 september van start gaan. De Belgische vakwebsite is iets voorzichtiger en vermeldt dat de Trafic dit najaar te bestellen zal zijn, maar dat de introductieaanbieding geldt voor bestellingen die tussen 14 september en eind december worden geplaatst. De productie in de Renault-fabriek in Sandouville gaat naar verwachting eind 2026 van start.<\/p>\n<h4>Technisch ambitieus<\/h4>\n<p>Op papier is deze nieuwkomer een van de technisch meest ambitieuze elektrische bestelwagens op de markt. Het is het eerste voertuig van Renault dat is gebouwd op basis van de \u2018Software Defined Vehicle\u2019-architectuur van Ampere en het eerste met een 800-volt elektrisch systeem.<\/p>\n<p>De versie met een groot rijbereik combineert een NMC-accu van 81 kWh met een beoogd WLTP-bereik van maximaal 450 kilometer, terwijl een goedkopere LFP-accu van 60 kWh een bereik van bijna 350 kilometer zou moeten bieden.<\/p>\n<p>Renault beweert dat de accu voor lange afstanden in ongeveer 20 minuten van 15 tot 80% kan worden opgeladen met een 240 kW-gelijkstroomlader. Een achterin gemonteerde motor van 150 kW levert 345 Nm, terwijl het laadvermogen oploopt tot 1,25 ton en het trekvermogen twee ton bedraagt.<\/p>\n<p>Hoewel de Trafic tot 5,8 kubieke meter laadruimte biedt, blijft hij qua hoogte onder de 1,90 meter en heeft hij een opmerkelijk kleine draaicirkel van 10,3 meter.<\/p>\n<h4>Een veel moeilijker marktklimaat<\/h4>\n<p>Renault zal echter te maken krijgen met een veel zwaardere concurrentie dan toen het bestelbusje voor het eerst werd gepresenteerd. De kleinere PV5 Cargo van Kia heeft een WLTP-actieradius van maximaal 416 km en wordt in Nederland aangeboden vanaf \u20ac 29.895.<\/p>\n<p>De Ford E-Transit Custom heeft een actieradius van maximaal 370 km en is daar verkrijgbaar vanaf \u20ac 44.390 exclusief btw, terwijl de Belgische actieprijs momenteel is gedaald tot \u20ac 35.384.<\/p>\n<p>Hyundai heeft ondertussen de prijs van zijn nieuwe Staria Electric Cargo in Nederland vastgesteld op 39.995 euro exclusief btw, en belooft een actieradius van 450 km en een oplaadtijd van ongeveer 20 minuten van 10 tot 80%.<\/p>\n<p>Daarmee blijft de prijs een van de grootste onbeantwoorde vragen voor Hanover. Renault zal de Trafic zorgvuldig moeten positioneren tussen goedkopere nieuwkomers zoals de PV5 en gevestigde favorieten in het wagenpark, zoals de Transit Custom van Ford.<\/p>\n<p>Wat nog belangrijker is: Renault wil dat de nieuwe Trafic niet alleen op de grootte van de accu concurreert. De SDV-architectuur is zo ontworpen dat functies na aankoop via draadloze updates kunnen worden uitgebreid.<\/p>\n<p>Bedrijven zullen applicaties voor leverings-, route- of wagenparkbeheer rechtstreeks in het voertuig kunnen integreren, terwijl voorspellend onderhoud de slijtage van onderdelen kan monitoren, storingen op afstand kan diagnosticeren en kan helpen bij het inplannen van reparaties voordat een bestelwagen uit de roulatie moet worden genomen.<\/p>\n<h4>Voortdurende software-upgrades<\/h4>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-192725\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2026-Renault-Trafic-E-Tech-Electric-van-2026-06-402.webp?resize=640%2C329&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2026-Renault-Trafic-E-Tech-Electric-van-2026-06-402.webp?resize=1024%2C526&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2026-Renault-Trafic-E-Tech-Electric-van-2026-06-402.webp?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2026-Renault-Trafic-E-Tech-Electric-van-2026-06-402.webp?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Renault stelt zelfs dat voortdurende software-updates de restwaarde zouden kunnen ondersteunen, omdat een Trafic van drie of vier jaar oud functies kan krijgen die nog niet beschikbaar waren toen hij de fabriek verliet.<\/p>\n<p>Voor wagenparkbeheerders is dat mogelijk belangrijker dan nog een paar kilometer extra WLTP-actieradius: stilstandtijd en waardevermindering behoren tot de grootste factoren die bijdragen aan de totale eigendomskosten.<\/p>\n<p>Achter het bestelwagenmodel schuilt ook een breder industrieel verhaal. In juni kocht Renault het aandeel 45% van de Volvo Group en het aandeel 10% van CMA CGM in Flexis, waarmee het de volledige zeggenschap verwierf over de joint venture voor elektrische lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen die achter de nieuwe architectuur staat. Renault Trucks zal vanaf 2027 niettemin een voertuig op de markt brengen dat op hetzelfde platform is gebaseerd.<\/p>\n<p>Hannover wordt dus niet zozeer een traditionele voertuigpresentatie, maar eerder een eerste echte commerci\u00eble test van de nieuwe strategie van Renault op het gebied van elektrische bestelwagens.
