Het bedrijf is van plan om in 2026 ten minste 50 met FSD uitgeruste Tesla\u2019s in te zetten, waarbij de eerste auto al in gebruik is.<\/p>\n<p>Maar na vragen van Newmobility.news voegt MyWheels een belangrijke nuance toe aan zijn oorspronkelijke bewering. Het gaat hier niet om zelfrijdende auto\u2019s in juridische of technische zin. FSD Supervised blijft een geavanceerd rijhulpsysteem, en de bestuurder blijft te allen tijde verantwoordelijk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAls we het hebben over zelfrijdende deelauto\u2019s, bedoelen we daarmee nadrukkelijk het toekomstperspectief\u201d, aldus MyWheels. Voorlopig noemt het bedrijf het project een kleinschalige leerervaring voor steeds verder geautomatiseerd autodelen.<\/p>\n<h4>Eerst geselecteerde gebruikers<\/h4>\n<p>De eerste uitrol zal ook gecontroleerder verlopen dan het persbericht zou doen vermoeden. MyWheels zegt dat het zal beginnen met een \u201cbeperkte, geselecteerde gebruikersgroep\u201d. Deelnemers krijgen uitleg over hoe FSD werkt, de beperkingen ervan en hun verantwoordelijkheid als bestuurders.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla eist dat gebruikers de instructies volgen voordat ze FSD Supervised gaan gebruiken, waaronder een instructievideo en een quiz. MyWheels zegt dat het zich aan de eisen van Tesla zal houden, maar heeft nog niet precies bepaald hoe de toegang voor elke gebruiker en elk voertuig zal worden geregeld.<\/p>\n<p>Dat is van belang bij autodelen. Een particuliere Tesla wordt meestal bestuurd door \u00e9\u00e9n of enkele personen die gaandeweg leren hoe het systeem werkt. Een deelauto kan worden gebruikt door veel bestuurders met zeer uiteenlopende ervaring met geavanceerde rijhulpsystemen.<\/p>\n<p>Onderzoek naar menselijke factoren heeft herhaaldelijk gewaarschuwd voor overmatig vertrouwen, zelfgenoegzaamheid ten aanzien van automatisering en onduidelijkheid over wat rijhulpsystemen wel en niet kunnen. De zorg is dat incidentele gebruikers de grenzen ervan verkeerd zouden kunnen interpreteren of te traag zouden kunnen reageren wanneer het systeem zich onverwacht gedraagt.<\/p>\n<h4>Wie betaalt er als FSD een fout maakt?<\/h4>\n<p>Aansprakelijkheid is een ander grijs gebied. MyWheels bevestigt dat de bestuurder volgens de huidige regels verantwoordelijk blijft voor het besturen van de auto zolang FSD actief is.<\/p>\n<p>Het bedrijf zegt dat verzekeraars momenteel geen specifieke uitzondering maken voor FSD Supervised en dat het nauw contact onderhoudt met zijn verzekeraar over toekomstige fasen.<\/p>\n<p>MyWheels beweert echter niet dat elk ongeval automatisch de schuld van de bestuurder is. Als uit de voertuiggegevens blijkt dat er sprake is van een technische of productgerelateerde oorzaak, zou de aansprakelijkheid ook bij Tesla of andere partijen kunnen liggen. Dergelijke gevallen zouden per geval moeten worden beoordeeld.<\/p>\n<p>MyWheels erkent ook dat het niet altijd zelf kan vaststellen of een incident is veroorzaakt door FSD of door een bestuurder die niet op tijd heeft ingegrepen. Het kan zijn dat Tesla, verzekeraars of onafhankelijke deskundigen de beschikbare gegevens moeten analyseren.<\/p>\n<h4>Deeldeauto\u2019s zorgen voor nieuwe problemen<\/h4>\n<p>Een bijzonder interessant punt is het \u201cstrikeout\u201d-systeem van Tesla. FSD kan tijdelijk worden uitgeschakeld na herhaalde waarschuwingen wegens onoplettendheid van de bestuurder. In een auto in particulier bezit gelden die waarschuwingen voor \u00e9\u00e9n bestuurder of \u00e9\u00e9n huishouden. In een deelauto kunnen meerdere gebruikers die geen familie van elkaar zijn waarschuwingen opbouwen voor hetzelfde voertuig.<\/p>\n<p>MyWheels geeft toe dat dit een onopgeloste operationele kwestie is en zegt dat dit precies het soort vraagstuk is dat met het proefproject moet worden onderzocht.<\/p>\n<p>Hetzelfde geldt voor veiligheidsmonitoring. MyWheels zegt dat het kwalitatieve feedback zal verzamelen en de invloed van FSD op schadeclaims zal monitoren. Voorlopig verbindt het zich er niet toe om het uitschakelen van het systeem, waarschuwingen over het toezicht op de bestuurder of bijna-ongevallen systematisch te analyseren.<\/p>\n<p>En het futuristische scenario waarin een deelauto zelfstandig naar de volgende klant rijdt, ligt nog veel verder in de toekomst. MyWheels geeft toe dat een auto die zonder bestuurder over de openbare weg rijdt, in een heel andere juridische en technische categorie valt.<\/p>\n<p>Het experiment zou dus wel eens waardevol kunnen blijken, maar misschien om een andere reden dan de kop suggereert.
