{"id":193115,"date":"2026-09-03T12:10:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T10:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/?p=193115"},"modified":"2026-09-03T11:27:27","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T09:27:27","slug":"ev-batteries-age-better-than-feared-500000-tests-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/nl\/2026\/09\/03\/ev-batteries-age-better-than-feared-500000-tests-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Uit 500.000 tests blijkt dat accu\u2019s van elektrische auto\u2019s minder snel verouderen dan gevreesd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Uit een grootschalige analyse van meer dan 500.000 tests met accu\u2019s van elektrische auto\u2019s blijkt dat de meeste elektrische auto\u2019s na 150.000 kilometer nog minstens 90% van hun oorspronkelijke accucapaciteit behouden.<\/p>\n<p>Maar achter die gemiddelden gaan grote verschillen tussen individuele auto\u2019s schuil \u2013 en dat is precies de reden waarom Belgi\u00eb nu al gegevens over de conditie van de accu aan de Car-Pass toevoegt en waarom er in Belgi\u00eb en Nederland steeds meer stemmen opgaan voor een onafhankelijk accucertificaat voor tweedehands elektrische auto\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>De Oostenrijkse specialist in accudiagnostiek Aviloo heeft meer dan 500.000 van zijn FLASH-tests geanalyseerd die tussen 2022 en 2026 zijn uitgevoerd op 20 populaire EV-modellen. Deze tests maken deel uit van een wereldwijde database met meer dan een miljoen tests.<\/p>\n<p>Voor elk model heeft Aviloo de mediaan van de \u2018State of Health\u2019 (SoH) berekend bij 50.000, 100.000 en 150.000 kilometer. Uit de resultaten blijkt dat de vrees dat accu\u2019s van elektrische auto\u2019s al na enkele jaren leeg zijn, grotendeels ongegrond is.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_193119\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-193119\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-193119\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/battery-health.png?resize=640%2C373&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/battery-health-scaled.png?resize=1024%2C597&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/battery-health-scaled.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/battery-health-scaled.png?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-193119\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">De meeste accu\u2019s van elektrische auto\u2019s behouden na 150.000 km nog steeds ongeveer 90% of meer van hun capaciteit, maar uit de gegevens van Aviloo blijkt ook dat er grote verschillen bestaan tussen afzonderlijke auto\u2019s van hetzelfde model \/Aviloo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bij 150.000 km heeft een Mercedes EQA nog steeds gemiddeld bijna 94% van zijn oorspronkelijke capaciteit over. Ook de Ioniq 5 van Hyundai, de BMW i4, de Volvo XC40 Recharge en diverse andere modellen blijven boven de 90%.<\/p>\n<p>Ook de cijfers van Tesla blijven respectabel. Volgens Aviloo komt de Model Y na 150.000 km uit op ongeveer 90%, terwijl de Volkswagen ID.4 met zijn 77-kWh-accu ongeveer hetzelfde niveau haalt. Oudere modellen met kleinere accu\u2019s scoren iets slechter: de Nissan Leaf ZE1 met zijn 40-kWh-accu zakt naar ongeveer 86%.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Hetzelfde aantal kilometers, een heel andere accu<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Als we die cijfers echter zouden omzetten in een eenvoudige ranglijst van de \u2018beste\u2019 EV-accu\u2019s, zouden we de belangrijkste bevinding van het onderzoek over het hoofd zien. De verschillen tussen afzonderlijke exemplaren van hetzelfde model worden aanzienlijk groter naarmate het aantal gereden kilometers toeneemt.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_193120\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-193120\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-193120\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/SoH_and_range_all_vehicles_en.png?resize=640%2C338&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/SoH_and_range_all_vehicles_en-scaled.png?resize=1024%2C540&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/SoH_and_range_all_vehicles_en-scaled.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/SoH_and_range_all_vehicles_en-scaled.png?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-193120\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Het aantal kilometers alleen vertelt slechts een deel van het verhaal: Aviloo heeft vastgesteld dat de verschillen in de conditie van de accu\u2019s tussen afzonderlijke auto\u2019s aanzienlijk toenemen naarmate het aantal kilometers toeneemt \/Aviloo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bij auto\u2019s met een kilometerstand van ongeveer 150.000 km kan de accustatus zelfs tussen verder vergelijkbare voertuigen met meer dan tien procentpunten verschillen. Aviloo constateerde een spreiding van meer dan 12 punten voor de Ioniq 5 en ongeveer 13,5 punten voor de Nissan Leaf, zoals in het rapport wordt benadrukt. Bij sommige modellen is de spreiding over de volledige dataset zelfs nog groter.<\/p>\n<p>Dat betekent dat twee elektrische auto\u2019s van hetzelfde model die beide vijf jaar oud zijn en dezelfde kilometerstand hebben, een aanzienlijk verschillend actieradius kunnen hebben \u2013 en dus aantoonbaar verschillende tweedehandsprijzen verdienen.<\/p>\n<p>Kilometerstand, leeftijd en onderhoudsgeschiedenis behoren van oudsher tot de belangrijkste indicatoren voor de staat van een tweedehandsauto. Bij een elektrische auto wordt de conditie van de accu steeds meer een andere cruciale parameter.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Belgi\u00eb neemt SoH op in de Car-Pass<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Dat onderwerp is met name actueel in Belgi\u00eb. Sinds 1 januari 2026 kunnen verkopers van tweedehands BEV\u2019s en plug-in-hybriden er vrijwillig voor kiezen om een onafhankelijke \u2018State of Health\u2019-test (SoH) aan de Car-Pass te laten toevoegen. Het SoH-percentage en de bijbehorende testgegevens kunnen dan bij de verkoop van de auto worden vermeld naast de verplichte kilometerhistorie.<\/p>\n<p>Car-Pass wil nog een stap verder gaan en heeft gepleit voor het verplicht stellen van informatie over de batterijconditie voor elektrische en plug-in hybride auto\u2019s met voldoende grote batterijen. Daarnaast wil de organisatie dat autofabrikanten en importeurs op termijn automatisch SoH-gegevens van verbonden voertuigen verstrekken.<\/p>\n<p>Vlaanderen onderzoekt ondertussen een merkonafhankelijke SoH-test die zou kunnen worden aangeboden naast de toekomstige vrijwillige keuring van tweedehandsauto\u2019s en mogelijk ook tijdens periodieke technische keuringen. Hiervoor is nog een wettelijk kader nodig.<\/p>\n<p>In Nederland bestaat er nog geen vergelijkbaar verplicht accucertificaat. Zowel BOVAG als de Vereniging Elektrische Rijders pleiten echter al geruime tijd voor betrouwbare, uniforme informatie over de toestand van de accu voor kopers van tweedehands elektrische auto\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Interessant genoeg bleek uit een eerdere Nederlandse vergelijking \u2013 waarbij 185 testrondes met 24 merken en modellen werden uitgevoerd \u2013 dat de FLASH-test van Aviloo en die van concurrent Moba tot de meest betrouwbare van de vijf onderzochte onafhankelijke testsystemen behoorden. Dat biedt nuttige externe ondersteuning voor Aviloo, hoewel er bij de analyse van het nieuwe half miljoen tests \u00e9\u00e9n belangrijke kanttekening moet worden geplaatst.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Onafhankelijk, maar niet academisch<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Aviloo is een gerenommeerde Oostenrijkse specialist op het gebied van accudiagnostiek, wiens technologie ook wordt gebruikt of erkend door organisaties zoals de Duitse ADAC en de Oostenrijkse \u00d6AMTC.\u00a0De FLASH-test wordt aangesloten via de diagnose-aansluiting van de auto en analyseert parameters zoals leeftijd, kilometerstand, laadgeschiedenis, verschillen in celspanning en energietellers aan de hand van de uitgebreide database van Aviloo. De test gaat dus verder dan alleen het aflezen van de \u2018State of Health\u2019-waarde die door het accubeheersysteem van de fabrikant wordt verstrekt.<\/p>\n<p>Dit is echter geen wetenschappelijk onderzoek dat door vakgenoten is beoordeeld. Aviloo heeft de testgegevens verzameld, de algoritmen ontwikkeld, de resultaten geanalyseerd en het rapport gepubliceerd. Het bedrijf verdient ook geld aan batterijtests en certificaten, waarvan de bevindingen het nut onderstrepen.<\/p>\n<p>De omschrijving door Aviloo van zijn rapport als het \u201cgrootste onafhankelijke onderzoek ter wereld naar EV-accu\u2019s\u201d moet daarom worden opgevat als onafhankelijk van de autofabrikanten, en niet als onafhankelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar de technologie van Aviloo.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Het batterijcertificaat zou wel eens de nieuwe kilometerteller kunnen worden<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Toch maakt de omvang van de dataset het moeilijk om de kernboodschap te negeren. EV-accu\u2019s lijken aanzienlijk langzamer in capaciteit af te nemen dan veel consumenten nog steeds vrezen; zelfs auto\u2019s met een hoge kilometerstand behouden doorgaans een groot deel van hun oorspronkelijke capaciteit. Tegelijkertijd worden gemiddelden steeds minder bruikbaar bij het beoordelen van een individuele tweedehands EV.<\/p>\n<p>Dat is met name van belang in Belgi\u00eb en Nederland, waar de grote golf aan elektrische bedrijfs- en leaseauto\u2019s die de afgelopen jaren is verkocht, in toenemende mate op de tweedehandsmarkt terechtkomt. Voor die auto\u2019s is het wellicht niet langer voldoende om te weten dat een elektrische auto 120.000 of 150.000 kilometer heeft gereden.
