Het Chinese Chery Holding zal op de IAA Transportation in Hannover de productieversie van twee elektrische Delivan-bestelwagens onthullen.<\/p>\n

Het merk Delivan, dat zich specifiek op de Europese markt richt, werd eerder dit jaar gelanceerd op de Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show.<\/p>\n

Chery zal in 2027 zijn intrede doen op de groeiende Europese markt voor elektrische lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen. Eerder dit jaar lanceerde het Chinese conglomeraat tijdens de Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show zijn merk Delivan, dat speciaal voor Europa is bedoeld.<\/p>\n

Daar werd een middelgroot conceptmodel getoond, maar zonder dat er technische details werden vermeld. Tijdens de komende IAA Transportation in Hannover zullen de eerste twee productieversies worden onthuld.<\/p>\n

Om te beginnen compacte en middelgrote bestelwagens?<\/b><\/h4>\n

Hoewel de twee Delivan-modellen pas op 14 september worden getoond, wordt verwacht dat ze gericht zullen zijn op het compacte en het middelgrote segment. Later wordt een derde, groter model verwacht, waarmee het Delivan-assortiment compleet wordt.<\/p>\n

Delivan heeft bekendgemaakt dat de nieuwe bestelwagens speciaal voor de Europese markt zijn ontwikkeld op een speciaal voor elektrische voertuigen ontworpen platform. Dit zou betekenen dat de modellen volledig nieuw zijn en niet zijn gebaseerd op bestaande Chinese bestelwagens. Het zal interessant zijn om te zien welke technische aanpak het merk kiest. De chemische samenstelling van de accu, de grootte en het daaruit voortvloeiende laadvermogen, 400 V of 800 V, trekvermogen\u2026 moeilijke keuzes waar ook bestaande merken mee te maken hebben.<\/p>\n

Het LCV-ecosysteem en ombouwprojecten. Naast<\/b>\u00a0Op het gebied van bestelwagens presenteert Delivan drie op elkaar afgestemde pakketten om klanten in de lichte bedrijfsvoertuigensector te ondersteunen. De programma\u2019s \u2018DELIVAN PRO\u2019, \u2018DELIVAN X\u2019 en \u2018DELIVAN I\u2019 richten zich respectievelijk op service en inzetbaarheid, ombouw en maatwerk, en intelligente wagenparktechnologie.<\/h4>\n

Hieruit blijkt dat het merk zich bewust is van het belang van een ecosysteem dat klanten helpt bij het uitvoeren van hun bedrijfsactiviteiten, en dat het niet alleen gaat om het op de markt brengen van bestelwagens.<\/p>\n

Interessant is dat op de stand van Delivan ook vier bestelwagens te zien zullen zijn die door Europese partners al zijn omgebouwd. Het merk zal belangrijke samenwerkingsverbanden aankondigen met gevestigde ombouwbedrijven op ons continent. Een daarvan is Gruau, dat vanaf het begin actief bij de ontwikkeling betrokken is geweest.<\/p>\n

Chery heeft nog niet bekendgemaakt op welke Europese markten de bestelwagens hun debuut zullen maken. Het merk is al actief in verschillende Europese landen<\/a> met zijn personenauto's.<\/p>\n

Maar er wordt wel vermeld dat Delivan een speciale aanpak krijgt. Het Europese hoofdkantoor van Delivan is gevestigd in Liverpool, en voor de EU-markt is een Duitse dochteronderneming opgericht.<\/p>\n

De groeiende markt voor elektrische lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen<\/b><\/h4>\n

Met het merk Delivan wil Chery inspringen op de Europese markt voor elektrische bestelwagens, die de komende jaren naar verwachting een sterke groei zal doormaken.<\/p>\n

Hoewel de markt nog steeds relatief beperkt is, is deze in de eerste helft van 2026 aanzienlijk gegroeid. Volgens ACEA waren 13,2% van de 742.759 bestelwagens die in de eerste zes maanden van het jaar in de EU werden verkocht, volledig elektrisch. Hoewel 79,1% van de klanten nog steeds de voorkeur geeft aan een dieselmotor, steeg de verkoop van elektrische bestelwagens met 41,6% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar.<\/p>\n

De concurrentie zal de komende jaren hevig zijn. Naast \u2018traditionele\u2019 merken die elektrische bestelwagens op de markt brengen, duiken er ook steeds meer nieuwe merken op.<\/p>\n

Kia zet volop in op zijn PBV\u2019s<\/a> en Hyundai<\/a> is opnieuw op de markt voor lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen (eLCV) gestapt. Bovendien zijn er Chinese merken zoals het gevestigde Maxus-assortiment en nieuwkomers zoals Farizon<\/a> en BYD richten zich op de Europese kopers van lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen.
