Nu Volkswagen en zijn dealernetwerk melding maken van een sterke vraag, lijkt de nieuwe ID. Polo meteen een hit te worden. De \u0160koda Epiq en de Cupra Raval, die op hetzelfde platform zijn gebouwd, vertonen de eerste tekenen van een vergelijkbaar succes.<\/p>\n

De introductie van goedkopere elektrische auto\u2019s lijkt de belangstelling van Europese kopers te wekken. Naar verluidt is de wachtlijst voor de kleine elektrische modellen van de VW-groep opgelopen tot 10 maanden.<\/p>\n

Volkswagen meldt dat het een orderportefeuille heeft van 30.000 exemplaren van de ID. Polo, waarvan de prijzen in Belgi\u00eb beginnen bij \u20ac 24.995.<\/p>\n

Hoewel het basismodel van de Epiq<\/a> is nog niet te bestellen, maar \u0160koda meldt 35.000 bestellingen voor zijn kleine elektrische auto. Ook Cupra zegt dat er een sterke vraag is naar zijn Raval<\/a>. De drie modellen zijn gebouwd op hetzelfde MEB+ elektrische platform<\/a>, waarmee de \u2018Electric Urban Car Family\u2019 van de groep wordt gevormd.<\/p>\n

Wordt elektrisch rijden de norm?<\/b><\/h4>\n

De VW ID. Polo beleefde zijn wereldpremi\u00e8re in april<\/a> van dit jaar. Destijds kostte de middenklassevariant \u2018Life\u2019 met een accucapaciteit van 52 kWh \u20ac 33.795 (in Duitsland). Er was beloofd dat er dichter bij de lanceringsdatum een model van minder dan \u20ac 25.000 op de markt zou komen.<\/p>\n

Nu de \u2018Trend\u2019-uitvoering van \u20ac 24.995 en een accu van 37 kWh beschikbaar zijn, heeft het merk eindelijk zijn betaalbare elektrische auto. De \u2018kleine\u2019 accu kan nu ook worden gekozen bij de duurdere uitvoeringen, terwijl een snellere ID. De Polo GTI<\/a>, met een vermogen van 166 kW, wordt later dit jaar op de markt gebracht.<\/p>\n

Met een elektrisch bereik van ongeveer 300 km voor deze prijs lijken de ID. Polo en zijn zustermodellen kopers te overtuigen. VW heeft tegenover het Duitse tijdschrift Automobilwoche verklaard dat er sprake is van een \u201czeer positieve vraag van klanten\u201d. Of dit een structureel verschijnsel is of eerder een tijdelijke hype bij de marktintroductie, valt nog te bezien.<\/p>\n

Een niet bij naam genoemde grote dealergroep zou hebben gezegd dat de ID. Polo \u201cuitverkocht\u201d is. De wachtlijst van tien maanden waarover wordt gesproken, lijkt echter vooral betrekking te hebben op individuele configuraties.<\/p>\n

De serieproductie van auto\u2019s met vergelijkbare specificaties voor de verkoop als standaardmodellen en uit voorraad zou sneller geleverd moeten kunnen worden. Dit kan worden gezien als een goed teken van de vraag, aangezien individuele klanten bereid zijn te wachten en meer te betalen voor niet-standaardauto\u2019s in plaats van basismodellen uit voorraad te kopen.<\/p>\n

Productiestijging<\/b><\/h4>\n

VW heeft verklaard dat de ID. Polo \u201cde oorspronkelijke verwachtingen ruimschoots heeft overtroffen\u201d. Betekent dit dat de wachtlijst het gevolg is van een te krappe productieplanning?<\/p>\n

De groep onderzoekt momenteel manieren om de productie van zijn \u2018Electric Urban Car Family\u2019 op te voeren. De ID. Polo en de Cupra Raval rollen van de band in de fabriek in Martorell, terwijl de \u0160koda Epiq eveneens in Spanje wordt gebouwd, in de fabriek van de groep in Pamplona.<\/p>\n
