Nadat Kia op de Autosalon van Brussel 2026 zijn uitgebreide assortiment elektrische GT-modellen had gepresenteerd, lanceert het merk nu officieel de sportievere versies van de EV3, EV4 en EV5.<\/p>\n

Kia wil met zijn assortiment elektrische auto\u2019s aan alle behoeften tegemoetkomen, van compacte, betaalbare auto\u2019s zoals de EV2 en bestelwagens zoals de PV5 tot grote SUV\u2019s zoals de EV9. Maar de Zuid-Koreaanse fabrikant wil ook dat liefhebbers van sportieve auto\u2019s vallen voor zijn sportievere GT-serie elektrische auto\u2019s.<\/p>\n

GT\u2019s uit het C-segment<\/b><\/h4>\n

Na de EV6 GT en de EV9 GT breidt Kia zijn GT-aanbod nu ook uit naar het elektrische C-segment. Hiermee wil het \u201celektrische prestatieauto\u2019s toegankelijk maken voor een breder publiek\u201d. De EV3 GT, EV4 GT en EV5 GT krijgen allemaal een krachtige vierwielaandrijving met twee motoren, technologie om de wegligging en het rijgevoel te verbeteren, en nieuwe digitale functies.<\/p>\n

De nieuwe versies krijgen misschien wel een sportiever karakter en een uiterlijk dat zowel van binnen als van buiten helemaal bij dat imago past, maar de GT-uitvoering zorgt ook voor een hogere prijs. In Belgi\u00eb beginnen de prijzen bij \u20ac 59.190 voor de Kia EV3 GT, \u20ac 60.190 voor de EV4 GT en \u20ac 60.990 voor de EV5 GT.<\/p>\n

Twee verschillende aandrijflijnen<\/b><\/h4>\n

Zowel de EV3 GT als de EV4 GT zijn uitgerust met een aandrijflijn van 215 kW (292 pk) met een elektromotor op zowel de voor- als de achteras, wat zorgt voor vierwielaandrijving en een koppel van 458 Nm. Hierdoor accelereert de EV3 GT in 5,7 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/h, terwijl de EV4 GT een tiende van een seconde sneller is (5,6 seconden). De WLTP-actieradius bedraagt 540 km voor de EV3 en 505 km voor de EV4. Een 22 kW-lader is een nieuw kenmerk voor de EV3- en EV4-modellen.<\/p>\n

De EV5 GT SUV is uitgerust met een dubbele aandrijving van 225 kW (306 pk) en 480 Nm, waarmee hij in 6,2 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/u accelereert. Het opgegeven WLTP-bereik bedraagt 476 km op een volle accu.<\/p>\n

GT-behandeling<\/b><\/h4>\n

Bij de GT-modellen van Kia draait het niet alleen om uiterlijk en vermogen; de fabrikant heeft ook aandacht besteed aan het onderstel. De veren en de stabilisatorstang zijn stijver gemaakt en er zijn elektronisch geregelde schokdempers gemonteerd, die met behulp van een camerasysteem de toestand van het wegdek verderop voorspellen.<\/p>\n

Verbeterde remmen, drie verschillende rijmodi, waaronder een GT-modus, een directere besturing en een dynamischer stabiliteitscontrole maken ook deel uit van het GT-pakket.<\/p>\n

Last but not least zijn er ook op technologisch vlak nieuwe elementen.
