Stellantis Pro One heeft op de IAA Transportation in Hannover het autonome BOW-bezorgconcept onthuld. Deze bezorgpod biedt een voorproefje van een toekomst waarin de verkoop van bestelwagens en diensten plaats zal maken voor een compleet logistiek ecosysteem.<\/p>\n

De onthulling van de BOW, oftewel Box On Wheels, kwam niet als een verrassing. Stellantis Pro One had een paar maanden geleden al een voorproefje gegeven van dit innovatieve concept. Maar in Hannover werd het voor het eerst in zijn geheel getoond.<\/p>\n

Zonder bestuurderscabine<\/h4>\n

De BOW is een autonoom, volledig elektrisch logistiek concept dat gericht is op last-mile-bezorging in stedelijke lage-emissiezones. Stellantis omschrijft het als een combinatie van \u201cautonome logistiek, elektrificatie, connectiviteit en diensten in een ge\u00efntegreerd ecosysteem\u201d. Dat is een slogan die in vele richtingen kan worden ge\u00efnterpreteerd, en die benadrukt dat het bij de BOW meer om de intentie gaat dan om productie in de nabije toekomst.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Er is geen bestuurderscabine. Een groot scherm aan de voorkant doet dienst als voorruit en geeft meldingen weer zoals \u201cLevering bezig\u201d, terwijl een zichtbare LiDAR-bult op het dak verwijst naar de sensoren die daaronder zijn ondergebracht. Een roldeur aan de achterzijde geeft toegang tot een laadruimte waarvan het exacte volume nog niet is opgegeven.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stellantis voegt hieraan toe dat het voertuig niet alleen geschikt is voor de stad, maar ook voor gecontroleerde omgevingen zoals fabrieken, ziekenhuizen en luchthavens. Op de stand stond een statisch conceptmodel, terwijl buiten de beurshal een apart demomodel reed, zodat bezoekers het zelf konden uitproberen.<\/p>\n

Samen met het Chinese bedrijf<\/h4>\n

Wat het onderdeel autonoom rijden betreft, werkt Stellantis samen met UQI Robotics, een Chinese specialist op het gebied van kunstmatige intelligentie en robotica die al een logistiek voertuig produceert met de naam Chitu Alpha. Stellantis heeft niet bekendgemaakt hoe die samenwerking precies is opgezet.<\/p>\n

Misschien wel het belangrijkste aspect van de BOW is dat deze een verschuiving voor Stellantis Pro belichaamt: de overgang van leverancier van voertuigen naar aanbieder van \u201cge\u00efntegreerde mobiliteits-, service- en logistieke oplossingen\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dat is het soort taal dat je tegenkomt in persberichten van transportbedrijven, maar het past in de langetermijnstrategie van de groep, waarbij de stijgende inkomsten uit software en diensten de traditionele verkoop van bestelwagens moeten ondersteunen.<\/p>\n

Het belangrijkste om de kosten te verlagen<\/h4>\n

Nu we het daar toch over hebben: Stellantis presenteerde op de IAA Transportation ook voor het eerst zijn Smart Compact Vans. Na de digitale onthulling voor de zomer kon het publiek deze instapmodellen van de Citro\u00ebn Berlingo Van (First), Fiat Dobl\u00f2 (EasyPro), Opel Combo (Start) en Peugeot Partner (Active) met eigen ogen bekijken.<\/p>\n

Deze voordelige modellen zijn ontworpen met het oog op de behoeften van de meeste gebruikers, waarbij alles wat niet echt van belang is is weggelaten om de prijs laag te houden. Het ontwerp is gebaseerd op gegevens waaruit blijkt dat 80% van de beroepschauffeurs alleen in hun bestelwagen zitten. De Flexiseat kan daarom worden ingeklapt om meer laadruimte vrij te maken.<\/p>\n

Dit streven om kosten te besparen door de focus op het essenti\u00eble heeft ook geleid tot een accu van 42 kWh, goed voor een actieradius van 270 kilometer. De redenering hierachter is dat bestuurders die dagelijks 100 tot 150 kilometer afleggen, niet zouden moeten betalen voor het dubbele van die actieradius. Deze Smart Vans worden echter ook op de markt gebracht in diesel- en benzinevarianten.<\/p>\n

Het plezier van een driewieler<\/h4>\n

Tot slot werd op de stand van Stellantis Pro een versie van de Fiat Tris met deur gepresenteerd. De Tris is het eerste driewielige elektrische voertuig van het merk, gebouwd in de fabriek in K\u00e9nitra in Marokko. Het voertuig is uitgerust met een accupakket van 6,9 kWh, goed voor een actieradius van 90 kilometer. Het laadvermogen bedraagt meer dan 500 kg.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
