Voor wie het gevoel heeft dat het al een eeuwigheid geleden is dat hij of zij het rijexamen heeft afgelegd: de Great Traffic Quiz is er dit jaar weer. Tot en met 14 oktober kan iedereen naar www.degroteverkeersquiz.be gaan om zijn of haar kennis over verkeer, mobiliteit en veiligheid te testen.<\/p>\n

Zo\u2019n speelse verkeersquiz blijkt hard nodig te zijn: volgens een enqu\u00eate die vorig jaar door de Vlaamse Stichting voor Verkeersonderzoek (VSV) werd gehouden onder 1.000 automobilisten in Vlaanderen, gaven slechts 53% aan goed op de hoogte te zijn van de nieuwe verkeersregels. Ongeveer 40% gaven zelfs aan dat het onmogelijk is om alle wijzigingen in de verkeersregels bij te houden.<\/p>\n

\u201cOm onze wegen veiliger te maken\u201d<\/h4>\n

Met een nieuwe editie van de Grote Verkeersquiz wil de stichting vooral weggebruikers aanmoedigen om hun kennis op te frissen. Aan de hand van tien meerkeuzevragen kunnen deelnemers snel achterhalen of hun kennis een opfrisbeurt nodig heeft. In 2025 werd de quiz 522.320 keer gespeeld.<\/p>\n

Juist omdat nieuwe verkeersregels soms moeilijk te onthouden zijn, roept de Vlaamse minister van Mobiliteit, Annick De Ridder (N-VA), iedereen op om mee te doen. \u201cMet deze quiz maken we verkeerskennis toegankelijk en leuk. Ik roep alle Vlamingen op om mee te doen: jong en oud, individueel of samen met collega\u2019s en organisaties. Zo werken we samen aan veiligere wegen\u201d, zegt ze.<\/p>\n

Win een e-bike<\/h4>\n

Deelnemers maken bovendien kans op prijzen. Wie ten minste 7 van de 10 punten scoort, maakt kans op een e-bike, cadeaubonnen of een jaarabonnement op een fietsdeeldienst.<\/p>\n

De Grote Verkeersquiz \u2013 die ook in het Frans beschikbaar is \u2013 kan ook in teams binnen bedrijven en organisaties worden gespeeld. 639 bedrijven hebben zich al aangemeld voor deze nieuwe editie.<\/p>\n
