De Belgische automarkt lijkt eindelijk de weg naar elektrificatie te hebben ingeslagen. Maar mobiliteitsorganisatie Touring stelt dat deze overgang grotendeels te danken is aan bedrijfswagens, en waarschuwt dat er voor particuliere kopers nog steeds problemen zijn. Zoals bijvoorbeeld het gemak en de kosten van openbaar opladen.<\/b><\/p>\n

Voor het eerst in de geschiedenis zijn er er rijden in Belgi\u00eb meer hybride en elektrische auto\u2019s rond dan dieselauto\u2019s<\/a>. Met 544.000 geregistreerde elektrische auto\u2019s bedraagt hun aandeel 9% van het totale Belgische wagenpark. Voeg daar nog 126.000 openbare oplaadpunten aan toe, plus de vanafprijs van nieuwe elektrische auto\u2019s, die is gedaald tot ongeveer \u20ac 20.000, en alles lijkt op koers te liggen voor volledige elektrificatie.<\/p>\n

Tijdens de tocht zijn er wegversperringen<\/b><\/h4>\n

Maar de Belgische mobiliteitsorganisatie Touring waarschuwt dat de elektrificatie in twee tempo\u2019s verloopt. Bedrijfswagens gaan voluit voor volledig elektrisch: 80% van alle EV's in Belgi\u00eb zijn geregistreerd door professionals. Maar particuliere kopers blijven terughoudend. Terwijl bedrijven profiteren van een gunstig fiscaal kader rond EV's, vinden particuliere kopers de overstap naar batterij-elektrische auto's nog steeds duur, aldus Touring.<\/p>\n

Concurrentie van Chinese merken en de ontwikkeling van een meer \u2018basisgericht\u2019 aanbod aan elektrische auto\u2019s zouden de prijzen kunnen hebben gedrukt tot ongeveer \u20ac 20.000 of zelfs minder<\/a>, maar dat is voor gezinnen nog steeds een relatief grote investering. Een goed ontwikkelde tweedehandsmarkt voor betaalbare elektrische auto\u2019s zou de financi\u00eble lasten voor particuliere kopers kunnen verlichten, die vaak geen nieuwe auto\u2019s kopen.<\/p>\n

Volgens Touring zouden stijgende brandstofprijzen bepaalde gebruikersgroepen ertoe kunnen aanzetten om over te stappen op elektrische auto\u2019s. Maar de mobiliteitsorganisatie waarschuwt ook dat je het volledige plaatje in ogenschouw moet nemen om een juist beeld van de kosten te krijgen, en niet alleen naar de aankoopprijs moet kijken.<\/p>\n

Het bereik, de restwaarden, de onzekerheid over het toekomstige fiscale kader, of er thuis al dan niet kan worden opgeladen, en bijvoorbeeld de prijs en het gebruiksgemak van openbare oplaadpunten.<\/p>\n

Gebrek aan transparantie bij het in rekening brengen van kosten<\/b><\/h4>\n

Touring ziet ruimte voor verbetering op het gebied van openbare oplaadpunten. Hoewel er in Belgi\u00eb 126.000 openbare oplaadpunten zijn, stelt de organisatie dat de gebruikerservaring en de kostentransparantie moeten worden verbeterd. \u201cHet opladen van een elektrische auto moet net zo eenvoudig en transparant zijn als tanken. Bestuurders moeten weten hoeveel ze gaan betalen voordat ze beginnen met opladen\u201d, zegt Touring-woordvoerder Danny Smagghe.<\/p>\n

Maar de vraag is of de transparantie werkelijk zo beperkt is als Touring suggereert. De Europese AFIR-verordening verplicht exploitanten van oplaadpunten om de kosten per kWh, de startkosten en de kosten per uur rechtstreeks op het oplaadstation of via een QR-code weer te geven. Bovendien kunnen gebruikers de kosten in de app van hun oplaadkaartaanbieder bekijken. Maar dat betekent natuurlijk wel dat ze de moeite moeten nemen om de prijzen te controleren.<\/p>\n

De AFIR-verordening staat ook betaling met een gewone debet- of creditcard toe, wat verplicht is voor laadpunten met een vermogen van meer dan 50 kW. Voor snellaadpunten is het dus niet nodig om een laadkaart aan te schaffen, hoewel dat wellicht goedkoper zou zijn.<\/p>\n

Nee tegen \u2018alleen elektrische auto\u2019s\u2019<\/b><\/h4>\n

Touring juicht de transitie en de daarmee gepaard gaande lagere uitstoot toe, maar benadrukt de noodzaak van technische neutraliteit. De organisatie is niet van mening dat de toekomst van auto\u2019s uitsluitend in elektrische voertuigen ligt en dringt er bij de EU-wetgevers op aan om de deadline van 2035 voor de verkoop van auto\u2019s met een verbrandingsmotor te heroverwegen.<\/p>\n

De organisatie is voorstander van het prioriteren van emissiereducties, maar benadrukt dat er haalbare en betaalbare oplossingen nodig zijn. Touring noemt daarbij de verdere ontwikkeling van hernieuwbare brandstoffen en e-brandstoffen, waterstof en andere technologie\u00ebn die het automobillandschap zouden kunnen veranderen.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
