De BMW Group investeert ongeveer 2 miljard euro in de autoproductie en de productie van accu\u2019s om het belang van Duitsland als productiecentrum te onderstrepen. Het bedrijf zorgt ervoor dat zijn fabrieken klaar zijn voor de volgende generatie van de BMW 3-serie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

De 3-serie vormt al meer dan 50 jaar het hart van het merk BMW. Sinds de start van de productie in 1975 heeft BMW ongeveer 18 miljoen auto\u2019s geproduceerd, waarvan 15 miljoen in Duitsland. Hiermee is de BMW 3-serie \u2019s werelds meest succesvolle premiumauto in de middenklasse.<\/p>\n

BMW heeft ongeveer 1 miljard euro uitgegeven aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de autofabrieken in M\u00fcnchen en Dingolfing. Daarnaast heeft het bedrijf nog eens ongeveer 1 miljard euro ge\u00efnvesteerd in de nieuwe batterijfabriek in Irlbach-Stra\u00dfkirchen in Neder-Beieren.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe investeren in waardecreatie, concurrerende productie en werkzekerheid in Duitsland. De nieuwe BMW 3-serie is daar het bewijs van,\u201d aldus Raymond Wittmann, lid van de raad van bestuur van de BMW Group, verantwoordelijk voor productie. \u201cWe hebben de transformatie volledig in eigen hand, van ontwikkeling tot industrialisatie en hoogeffici\u00ebnte productie in M\u00fcnchen en Dingolfing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDe nieuwe fabriek voor hoogspanningsaccu\u2019s in Irlbach-Stra\u00dfkirchen laat zien hoe we belangrijke technologie op het gebied van elektromobiliteit terugbrengen naar onze thuisbasis. Wij leveren hieraan onze bijdrage. Voorwaarden die investeringen, innovatie en concurrentievermogen mogelijk maken, zijn essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat de industri\u00eble waardecreatie in Duitsland succesvol blijft\u201d, voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

i3 in M\u00fcnchen, ICE 3-serie in Dingolfing<\/h4>\n

De volledig elektrische BMW i3 wordt gebouwd in de grondig gerenoveerde moederfabriek van de BMW Group in M\u00fcnchen, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van hoogspanningsaccu\u2019s van de zesde generatie die worden geleverd door de nieuwe BMW Group-fabriek in Irlbach-Stra\u00dfkirchen. De varianten van de BMW 3-serie met verbrandingsmotor en plug-in-hybride aandrijving worden geproduceerd in de BMW Group-fabriek in Dingolfing.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeide vestigingen beschikken over ultramoderne productiesystemen en -faciliteiten, waardoor de BMW Group concurrerend blijft bij de productie van premiumauto\u2019s waar wereldwijd veel vraag naar is\u201d, aldus BMW.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn overeenstemming met het principe \u2018lokaal voor lokaal\u2019 zullen deze normen en richtlijnen ook worden toegepast op de productie van de BMW i3 en de BMW 3 in de BMW Group-fabriek in San Luis Potos\u00ed in Mexico, en op een aangepaste versie van de BMW 3-serie voor de Chinese markt in Shenyang, China.\u201d<\/p>\n

De BMW 3-serie vormt de volgende stap in de geleidelijke integratie van Neue Klasse-technologie\u00ebn in het kernassortiment van de BMW Group. Tegen eind 2027 zal het bedrijf ongeveer 40 nieuwe of vernieuwde modellen met Neue Klasse-technologie\u00ebn op de markt hebben gebracht.<\/p>\n

\u201cDe BMW 3-serie is veel meer dan alleen maar een auto. Hij staat symbool voor de kracht van innovatie, de prestaties van de moderne productie, de succesvolle transformatie van bestaande fabrieken en de onmiskenbare toewijding van de BMW Group aan Duitsland als industri\u00eble thuisbasis,\u201d zegt BMW trots.<\/p>\n

Betrokkenheid bij Duitsland en Beieren<\/h4>\n

Duitsland vormt het hart van de productie van de BMW Group. Het bedrijf produceert jaarlijks meer dan een miljoen voertuigen in zijn Duitse fabrieken. Dit betekent dat de BMW Group ongeveer een kwart van alle auto\u2019s produceert die in het land worden gemaakt. Het binnenlandse productievolume van het bedrijf overtreft de totale autoverkoop van de BMW Group in Europa.<\/p>\n

Tegelijkertijd vormt Duitsland het centrum van een sterk ge\u00efntegreerd industrieel netwerk voor waardecreatie. Ongeveer 55% medewerkers van de BMW Group werken in Duitsland. Daarnaast zijn er duizenden partnerbedrijven actief in de waardeketen.<\/p>\n

De BMW Group onderstreept met de nieuwe BMW 3-serie haar inzet voor regionale waardecreatie. Naarmate de productie op gang komt, leveren ongeveer 760 toeleveranciers onderdelen en materialen aan de fabrieken in M\u00fcnchen en Dingolfing. Meer dan 70% van deze productielocaties bevinden zich in Europa, waarvan meer dan 30% in Duitsland.<\/p>\n

Bij de voorbereidingen voor de achtste generatie van de 3-serie waren er specifieke verschillen tussen de twee productielocaties. In M\u00fcnchen heeft de BMW Group aanzienlijke investeringen gedaan in nieuwe gebouwen en productiefaciliteiten voor de technologie\u00ebn van de Neue Klasse en de productie van de i3.<\/p>\n

Dankzij de grote flexibiliteit en het brede modellenaanbod produceert de fabriek in Dingolfing versies met verbrandingsmotor en plug-in-hybrideversies van de nieuwe BMW 3-serie voor klanten over de hele wereld.<\/p>\n

De BMW Group-fabriek in Irlbach-Stra\u00dfkirchen vormt een ander belangrijk onderdeel van de volgende generatie van de BMW 3-serie en de Neue Klasse. In deze fabriek zullen hoogspanningsaccu\u2019s van de zesde generatie worden geassembleerd, en vanaf oktober zal de fabriek in M\u00fcnchen worden bevoorraad met accusystemen voor de volledig elektrische BMW i3.<\/p>\n
