Een maand na de onthulling van de elektrische Range Rover brengt het merk nu de elektrische variant van zijn dynamischere \u2018Sport\u2019-model op de markt.<\/p>\n

De Range Rover Sport Electric heeft dezelfde technische specificaties als zijn grotere broer, maar tegen een prijs die hem dichter bij zijn belangrijkste concurrenten brengt.<\/p>\n

Het EV-model behoudt de afmetingen en het algemene uiterlijk van de Range Rover Sport. Kenmerkend voor de Electric zijn een aerodynamisch geoptimaliseerde grille en specifieke velgontwerpen. JLR heeft bovendien een \u2018uniek geluidsontwerp\u2019 ontwikkeld om het dynamische karakter van de Sport te benadrukken.<\/p>\n

Twee aandrijflijnen<\/b><\/h4>\n

De Range Rover Sport Electric is verkrijgbaar met twee aandrijflijnen: de EV450 en de EV550. Beide maken gebruik van hetzelfde accupakket van 118,5 kWh met een 800V-architectuur en twee elektromotoren voor vierwielaandrijving. Hun vermogen verschilt echter.<\/p>\n

De EV450 heeft een gecombineerd vermogen van 331 kW\/450 hp en accelereert in 5,6 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/h. De EV550 levert 405 kW\/850 Nm voor een sprint van 4,5 seconden, en zelfs 4,3 seconden in de Dynamic Launch-modus. Beide modellen hebben een topsnelheid van 200 km\/h, wegen ongeveer 2,7 ton en bieden een trekvermogen van 2,5 ton.<\/p>\n

De mogelijkheden van de Range Rover<\/b><\/h4>\n

Net als zijn grotere broer verliest de Sport volgens JLR niets van zijn terreinvaardigheden in de elektrische uitvoering. De doorwaaddiepte bedraagt 900 mm, de elektrische auto kan hellingen van 45 graden aan en beschikt over terreinrijmodi.<\/p>\n

De \u2018Sport\u2019 was altijd bedoeld als een model dat meer op de bestuurder gericht is dan de Range Rover. En dat zou ook voor de elektrische variant moeten gelden.<\/p>\n

In vergelijking met de Sport-uitvoering met PHEV-aandrijving is het EV-chassis meer dan 60% stijver, terwijl de accu het zwaartepunt met 73 mm verlaagt, wat zorgt voor een boeiendere rijervaring.<\/p>\n

Wie op zoek is naar de meest dynamische rijervaring binnen het gamma, kan kiezen voor de EV550-versie. Deze is uitgerust met vierwielbesturing en actieve rolstabilisatie.<\/p>\n

Actieradius en laadsnelheid<\/b><\/h4>\n

JLR belooft een WLTP-actieradius van maximaal 609 km, wat in de praktijk een actieradius van meer dan 500 km zou moeten opleveren. Het WLTP-cijfer betekent dat de \u2018Sport\u2019 iets minder zuinig is dan zijn naaste premiumconcurrenten.<\/p>\n

De elektrische Porsche Cayenne haalt een actieradius van maximaal 642 km op een accu van 113 kWh, de BMW iX xDrive 60 maximaal 701 km op een accu van 109 kWh en de Volvo EX90 maximaal 625 km op een accu van 106 kWh.<\/p>\n

De laadsnelheid van de Range Rover Sport is een sterk punt. Met een laadtijd van 22 minuten bij 10-80% gelijkstroom ligt hij op hetzelfde niveau als de Polestar 3 Dual Motor en de Volvo EX90. De Range Rover Sport EV kan in 10 minuten een actieradius van maximaal 220 km opladen.<\/p>\n

De technische basis van de BMW iX begint echter zijn leeftijd te vertonen: hij is gebaseerd op een 400V-architectuur (in vergelijking met 800V bij zijn concurrenten), en het duurt 35 minuten om 80% te bereiken. Ook de Mercedes EQS heeft meer dan 30 minuten nodig, ongeacht de gekozen variant.<\/p>\n

Maar de Porsche Cayenne heeft slechts 16 minuten nodig. Daarmee is de Cayenne een van de belangrijkste concurrenten van de Range Rover Sport EV voor dagelijks gebruik. Bovendien bedraagt het trekvermogen van de Porsche 3,5 ton, \u00e9\u00e9n ton meer dan dat van de \u2018Sport\u2019.<\/p>\n

Prijzen en leveringen<\/b><\/h4>\n

De Belgische prijzen voor de Range Rover Sport Electric beginnen bij \u20ac 121.000 voor de EV450 en \u20ac 141.000 voor de EV550. Daarmee is hij iets duurder dan zijn belangrijkste concurrenten, met uitzondering van de Mercedes EQS, die begint bij \u20ac 124.000 voor een uitvoering met achterwielaandrijving.<\/p>\n

Aan de andere kant is het een veel \u2018betaalbaardere\u2019 optie dan de Range Rover EV, het instapmodel van het merk. De niet-sportieve Range Rover EV is verkrijgbaar vanaf ongeveer \u20ac 160.000.<\/p>\n

Kopers van een Range Rover Sport EV kunnen kiezen uit de uitvoeringen Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography en First Edition. Ook voor het EV-model zijn op maat gemaakte \u2018Autobiography\u2019-uitvoeringen mogelijk.
