Bedrijven daarentegen hebben te maken met onzekerheid over het mobiliteitsbudget en de gevolgen daarvan voor hun wagenparkbeleid.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Steeds meer EV's<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cMet 537.864 geregistreerde voertuigen presteert de markt voor tweedehandsauto\u2019s in de eerste negen maanden van 2026 (-3,3%) iets minder goed dan in het voorgaande jaar en in 2024 (-2,4%), maar ligt nog steeds boven het niveau van 2023 (+3,6%)\u201d, legt Filip Rylant, woordvoerder van de mobiliteitsfederatie Traxio, uit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Door de stijgende brandstofprijzen kiezen particuliere klanten steeds vaker voor volledig elektrische auto\u2019s, of deze nu nieuw of tweedehands zijn.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Deze trend is vooral duidelijk op de markt voor nieuwe auto\u2019s \u2013 waar elektrische auto\u2019s in september een marktaandeel van 20,2% hadden \u2013 maar ook op de markt voor tweedehandsauto\u2019s, waar elektrische auto\u2019s nu precies 6% uitmaken, tegenover 4,1% in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Het vervangingspercentage van tweedehands elektrische auto\u2019s is ten opzichte van vorig jaar al sterk gedaald, waardoor sommige gewilde modellen \u2013 met name betaalbare elektrische auto\u2019s \u2013 nu al moeilijk te vinden zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>De dieselprijs blijft dalen<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Overigens blijft de tweedehandsmarkt vooral een zaak van particulieren: hun aandeel in de registraties van tweedehandsauto\u2019s bedraagt maar liefst 91,2%. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De markt voor tweedehandsauto's wordt nog steeds gedomineerd door benzinemotoren (55,9%), gevolgd door dieselmotoren (22,1%), hybride auto's (15,4%) en elektrische auto's (6,0%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Hybride, plug-in hybride en elektrische modellen worden steeds meer de norm, zowel bij particuliere als bij zakelijke klanten.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Het aandeel van dieselvoertuigen blijft dalen, ook op de markt voor tweedehandsauto\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Bedrijven zijn daarentegen zelden te vinden op de tweedehandsmarkt, met uitzondering van gebruikte elektrische voertuigen: iets meer dan de helft (53%) staat op naam van bedrijven en lease- of verhuurbedrijven. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Die stijging is echter nog steeds onvoldoende om het aantal elektrische auto\u2019s op te vangen <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">leasecontracten die aflopen.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Volkswagen<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Volkswagen was dit jaar het best verkochte merk op de markt voor tweedehandsauto\u2019s, gevolgd door BMW, Mercedes, Peugeot en Opel. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De populairste modellen waren de VW Golf (20.925), gevolgd door de VW Polo (15.107), de Opel Corsa (13.337), de BMW 3-serie (11.507) en de BMW 1-serie (10.407).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De markt voor nieuwe voertuigen presteerde in de eerste negen maanden iets slechter dan vorig jaar, met 320.374 registraties (-1,1%). De daling is voornamelijk toe te schrijven aan de fleetmarkt.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Gemiddelde leeftijd<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Particuliere kopers kopen steeds vaker nieuwe elektrische auto\u2019s: voor het eerst hebben elektrische auto\u2019s een marktaandeel van meer dan 20% veroverd op de markt voor nieuwe auto\u2019s voor particuliere kopers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In september bestond 50,91 TP3T van de nieuwe registraties in Belgi\u00eb uit elektrische auto\u2019s. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Van het totale aantal registraties van nieuwe en tweedehandsauto\u2019s is de markt voor tweedehandsauto\u2019s goed voor bijna 63%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De gemiddelde leeftijd van tweedehandsauto\u2019s bedraagt 10 jaar en 2 maanden; de mediaanleeftijd ligt nu op 8 jaar en 1 maand. Dit wijst erop dat het totale wagenpark aanzienlijk veroudert, wat de overgang naar groenere voertuigen en de vermindering van de uitstoot ondermijnt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Vlaanderen is de grootste regio van Belgi\u00eb wat betreft de registraties van tweedehands personenauto\u2019s, met een aandeel van 55,1%, terwijl Walloni\u00eb goed is voor 36,8% en Brussel voor 8,1%.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Geopolitical\u00a0uncertainty, high interest rates, and equally high gasoline prices are making consumers hesitate when buying a car.
