Daardoor ligt het totale aantal voor de eerste negen maanden \u2013 12.293 stuks \u2013 maar liefst 13,4% hoger dan in 2025 en 14% hoger dan in 2024. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cAls deze snelle groei zich de komende maanden voortzet, zou 2026 zelfs nog beter kunnen worden dan 2023,\u201d legt Filip Rylant, woordvoerder van de mobiliteitsfederatie Traxio, uit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De reden voor deze snelle stijging is dat de overheid \u2013 met name het ministerie van Defensie \u2013 een groot aantal nieuwe speed-pedelecs heeft besteld. Bovendien worden er veel nieuwe contracten gesloten nu de huidige leaseovereenkomsten aflopen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Leasegedeelte<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">De grote winnaars zijn de leasemaatschappijen. De <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Het leasegedeelte is nu goed voor 66,11 TP3T van de nieuwe registraties; t<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Het eens zo dominante particuliere segment (bijna de helft in 2023) is gedaald tot slechts 20,91 TP3T. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Het aantal nieuwe speed-pedelecs dat door particulieren is geregistreerd, is dit jaar opnieuw sterk gedaald (-8,1%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Fietsleasing biedt bedrijven een aantal duidelijke voordelen, waaronder minder administratieve rompslomp en geen zorgen over onderhoud, verzekering of restwaarde.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Tweedehandsmarkt<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Ook de tweedehandsmarkt presteert goed: een stijging van 32,51 TP3T ten opzichte van 2025, 631 TP3T ten opzichte van 2024 en 92,21 TP3T ten opzichte van 2023 <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u2013 dat is dus bijna een verdubbeling in drie jaar tijd.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In de eerste negen maanden werden 9.823 voertuigen geregistreerd, een stijging van 2.408 ten opzichte van vorig jaar. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Tweedehands speed-pedelecs waren daarmee goed voor 44,4% van het totale aantal registraties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In totaal hebben we een recordaantal van 22.116 registraties bereikt (12.293 nieuwe + 9.823 tweedehands), oftewel 4.000 meer dan in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Snel-pedelecs blijven vooral een Vlaams fenomeen: 98% van alle nieuwe registraties vindt plaats in Vlaanderen.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Dankzij een aantal grote fietsleasebedrijven wordt bijna de helft van alle nieuwe speed-pedelecs (47,2%) in Oost-Vlaanderen geregistreerd (5.805 stuks).
