BMW breidt zijn \u2018Neue Klasse\u2019-familie verder uit met de nieuwe iX4, een sportieve elektrische SUV-coup\u00e9 die zich tussen de iX3 en de grotere iX5 positioneert. Het model wordt gelanceerd in drie varianten met vierwielaandrijving, waaronder de topversie iX4 M60 xDrive met 450 kW, die ook in de iX3 verkrijgbaar zal zijn. De prijzen voor de iX4 beginnen bij \u20ac 70.900 in Duitsland en \u20ac 69.800 in Belgi\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Het \u2018Neue Klasse\u2019-assortiment van BMW blijft maar groeien. In navolging van de middelgrote SUV iX3 en, kort daarna, de i3-sedan en het vlaggenschip iX5, is nu ook de iX4 klaar voor de markt.<\/p>\n

De SUV-coup\u00e9, met een vanafprijs van ongeveer 70.000 euro, ligt qua prijs op hetzelfde niveau als de Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron en is goedkoper dan bijvoorbeeld een Mercedes GLC of een Porsche Macan Electric.<\/p>\n

De marktintroductie staat gepland voor maart 2027; de BMW zal dan te bestellen zijn als iX4 40 xDrive en iX4 50 xDrive. Het topmodel, de iX4 M60 xDrive, zal vanaf januari 2027 te bestellen zijn, net als zijn gewone SUV-broertje, de iX3 M60 xDrive.<\/p>\n

Vierwielaandrijving en 400 kW-opladen<\/h4>\n

Alle uitvoeringen van de BMW iX4 zijn uitgerust met een elektromotor op elke as, waardoor ze over vierwielaandrijving beschikken. Voor de iX4 40 xDrive geeft BMW een systeemvermogen van 275 kW en een maximaal koppel van 520 Nm op.<\/p>\n

De iX4 50 xDrive levert 345 kW en 645 Nm. Hierdoor accelereren de twee modellen in respectievelijk 5,6 en 4,9 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/u, met een topsnelheid van 210 km\/u.<\/p>\n

De 800-volt-architectuur, die is gebaseerd op de eDrive-technologie van de 6e generatie, maakt snelladen met gelijkstroom tot 400 kW mogelijk. De grote accu van 108,7 kWh kan volgens de fabrikant in tien minuten voldoende energie opladen voor een actieradius van maximaal 387 km. De maximale actieradius bedraagt 828 km.<\/p>\n

De kleinere accu van 82,6 kWh, met een laadvermogen van 300 kW, kan in tien minuten tot 301 km aan actieradius toevoegen. In totaal biedt hij een actieradius van maximaal 638 km.<\/p>\n

Beide accu\u2019s kunnen in 21 minuten van 10 tot 80% worden opgeladen. Standaard laadt de iX4 met 11 kW via een wallbox, met een optie voor 22 kW. De SUV, met zijn snelle coup\u00e9-achtige achterkant, ondersteunt ook bidirectioneel laden (V2L, V2H, V2G).<\/p>\n

Emotioneel, sportief karakter<\/h4>\n

Mike Reichelt, hoofd van Neue Klasse, BMW Compact en Mid-size, legt uit: \u201cMet de nieuwe, volledig elektrische BMW iX4 breiden we het Neue Klasse-assortiment uit met een bijzonder emotioneel voertuig. De opvallende proporties, het elegante coup\u00e9-silhouet en de Neue Klasse-technologie\u00ebn zorgen samen voor een uniek karakter. Het voertuig combineert sportiviteit, expressiviteit en innovatieve technologie en maakt daarmee een krachtig statement in ons assortiment volledig elektrische BMW\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Om dit sportieve gevoel nog te versterken, rust de fabrikant de SUV-coup\u00e9 standaard uit met het M Sport-pakket. Dit omvat speciale designelementen, 20-inch lichtmetalen velgen, een M Sport-remsysteem met blauwe remklauwen en een sportstuur.<\/p>\n

Met een leeggewicht van 2.260 tot 2.380 kg, afhankelijk van het accupakket, vereist de 4,78 m lange, 1,90 m brede en 1,60 m hoge iX4 aanzienlijke expertise op het gebied van afstelling om zijn zware massa behendig door bochten te loodsen.<\/p>\n

Naast een adaptief, lichtgewicht chassis met een vooras met dubbele scharnierverbinding die de carrosserie, de asdragers en de accu met elkaar verbindt, en een achteras met vijf draagarmen en afzonderlijke veren en dempers, speelt het centrale stuursysteem \u2018Heart of Joy\u2019 een cruciale rol.<\/p>\n

In combinatie met de Driving Stack BMW Dynamic Performance Control regelt dit systeem de aandrijving en de rijdynamiek tien keer sneller dan eerdere systemen.<\/p>\n

Voldoende ruimte, sportief rijgevoel<\/h4>\n

In het interieur biedt BMW de passagiers standaard elegante, sportieve stoelen met een geheugenfunctie en het Travel & Comfort-systeem. Sport- of multifunctionele stoelen, evenals stoelverwarming achterin, zijn als optie verkrijgbaar.<\/p>\n

De rugleuning van de achterbank kan in een verhouding van 40:20:40 worden neergeklapt. Volgens de fabrikant hebben het standaard panoramische glazen dak en de naar achteren aflopende daklijn geen negatieve invloed op de binnenruimte, dankzij de architectuur van de auto.<\/p>\n

De cockpit is, zoals altijd, volledig op de bestuurder gericht en beschikt over een 3D-head-updisplay, het inmiddels beroemde panoramadisplay dat zich over de volledige breedte van het dashboard uitstrekt, en een centraal display van 17,9 inch.<\/p>\n

Daarachter schuilt de nieuwste versie van het besturingssysteem van BMW, OS X, waarmee je ook het geluid, de verlichting, de displays en de aandrijving naar eigen wens kunt aanpassen. De assistentiesystemen van de BMW iX4 worden bovendien ondersteund door kunstmatige intelligentie en maken gedeeltelijk geautomatiseerd rijden en parkeren mogelijk.<\/p>\n

M-prestaties: 450 kW en 875 Nm<\/h4>\n

Kort na de marktintroductie van de iX4 volgen twee krachtige varianten van BMW\u2019s nieuwe middelgrote SUV: de iX3 M60 xDrive en de iX4 M60 xDrive. Elke as is voorzien van een elektromotor, wat een gecombineerd systeemvermogen van 450 kW en een koppel van 875 Nm oplevert.<\/p>\n

Hierdoor kunnen de M60-varianten in 3,9 seconden van 0 naar 100 km\/u accelereren. Beide versies hebben een topsnelheid van 240 km\/u. Volgens de fabrikant bedraagt de maximale actieradius 777 km voor de coup\u00e9 en 754 km voor de minder aerodynamische iX3.<\/p>\n

Technische opbouw van de M60-uitvoeringen \/ BMW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tot de standaarduitrusting van de M60 xDrive-varianten behoren 21-inch lichtmetalen velgen, een zwarte nierengrille en opvallende lichtdesigns. In het interieur omvat het standaardpakket M Sport-stoelen met elektrische 10-voudige verstelling, een M-specifiek display met vermogensmeter en een M Sport-stuurwiel met een markering op 12 uur en schakelpaddles.<\/p>\n

Verder beschikt de auto over een speciaal afgestemd adaptief M-onderstel met elektronisch geregelde schokdempers en sportstuurinrichting, een M-sperdifferentieel op de achteras en twee exclusieve rijmodi: \u2018M Sport\u2019 en \u2018M Sport Plus\u2019.<\/p>\n
