Vandaag is het persdag op de Autosalon van Parijs; de beurs is vanaf morgen tot en met de 18e open voor het publiek. Aan de vooravond van de Autosalon van Parijs verwelkomde Stellantis gasten en de media bij \u201cThe Night Before\u201d, een exclusief evenement in de iconische Hangar Y in Parijs.<\/p>\n

Tijdens het evenement werd de visie van Stellantis op de toekomst onthuld aan de hand van zes conceptcars die als wereldpremi\u00e8res werden gepresenteerd. Dit evenement, dat de eerste stap vormde in de deelname van Stellantis aan de Autosalon van Parijs, vormde het decor voor een publieke beleving met meer dan 60 voertuigen op de grootste stand van de autosalon.<\/p>\n

Deze zes concepten, die zijn ontwikkeld onder leiding van Gilles Vidal, hoofd Design voor het uitgebreide Europa, vertegenwoordigen zes verschillende iconische merken van Stellantis en illustreren uiteenlopende wegen naar innovatie. \u201cMet deze zes conceptcars geven we uiting aan een gedeelde overtuiging: de toekomst van het auto-ontwerp moet zowel gedurfd als betekenisvol zijn\u201d, aldus Vidal.<\/p>\n

\u201cElk concept verkent nieuwe manieren om de dagelijkse ervaringen te verrijken en tegelijkertijd de unieke identiteit van het merk te versterken. Samen laten ze zien hoe creativiteit, innovatie en emotie kunnen samengaan om ervoor te zorgen dat mensen weer verliefd worden op auto\u2019s,\u201d voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

Het bedrijf transformeren<\/h4>\n

\u201cDit evenement brengt onze FaSTLAne 2030<\/a> \u201dWe brengen onze strategie tot leven\u201c, aldus Antonio Filosa, CEO van Stellantis. \u201dDit weerspiegelt de buitengewone inzet van onze teams en ons streven om de toekomst van mobiliteit vorm te geven door middel van iconische merken, aantrekkelijk design en innovatieve technologie, waardoor klanten meer keuze krijgen en nog meer redenen hebben om uit te kijken naar wat de toekomst in petto heeft.\"<\/p>\n

De uitgebreide aanwezigheid van Stellantis op de Autosalon van Parijs, met acht van zijn merken, waaronder belangrijke partner Leapmotor, geeft een indruk van de ambitie die ten grondslag ligt aan de transformatie van het bedrijf. \u2019Stellantis is diep geworteld in Europa en bekleedt een leidende positie die zal worden versterkt door het succes van al onze merken\u201c, aldus Emanuele Cappellano, COO van Enlarged Europe.<\/p>\n

\u201cStellantis wil het concurrentievoordeel dat voortvloeit uit het unieke karakter van zijn iconische merken ten volle benutten door auto\u2019s aan te bieden die zowel geworteld zijn in het verleden als gericht zijn op de toekomst, gebaseerd zijn op gedegen knowhow en zich onderscheiden door hun onge\u00ebvenaarde design, om zo de toekomst van mobiliteit vorm te geven met meer dan 50 producten die tegen 2030 op de markt zullen worden gebracht. Deze resultaten, die voortvloeien uit de uitvoering van ons strategisch plan, zullen Stellantis in staat stellen zijn marktdekking in het uitgebreide Europa met 25% uit te breiden\u2019, voegde Cappellano toe.<\/p>\n

Zes concepten<\/h4>\n

Elk concept belicht een ander aspect van vooruitgang, aldus Stellantis, \u201cvan mobiliteit en prestaties tot welzijn en digitale ervaringen. Samen belichamen ze de creativiteit, ambitie en klantgerichte visie die Stellantis de toekomst in stuwen.\u201d<\/p>\n

We geven je hier een kort overzicht van de zes concepten en zullen de komende dagen in afzonderlijke artikelen dieper ingaan op hun bijzondere kenmerken. Naast dit overzicht beginnen we met de nieuwe Citro\u00ebn 2CV, die wij beschouwen als de meest iconische \u2018comeback\u2019 op de beurs.<\/p>\n

Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso<\/h5>\n

De Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso is een conceptcar die voortkomt uit het hart van het merk, \u201contworpen voor wie nog steeds van autorijden houdt\u201d. Hij laat zien hoe de
\nHet merk zal de toekomst tegemoet gaan: een visie die haar weerslag zal vinden in de belangrijkste marktsegmenten, via multi-energie
\narchitecturen, met modellen tot 4,7 meter lang en de mogelijkheid om Quadrifoglio-versies te huisvesten.<\/p>\n

Met dit in gedachten zou de ultieme prestatie kunnen bestaan uit een 2,9 V6 full-hybride aandrijflijn in combinatie met Q4-vierwielaandrijving, een koppelomvormer en een aandrijfas van koolstofvezel.<\/p>\n

Citro\u00ebn 2CV Concept<\/h5>\n

Met de 2CV Concept wil Citro\u00ebn volgens de fabrikant geen icoon namaken, maar een idee opnieuw uitvinden dat niets van zijn relevantie heeft verloren. Een toegankelijkere, eenvoudigere en ingenieuze elektrische auto \u201cdie vrijheid en plezier weer centraal stelt in mobiliteit\u201d. De nieuwe 2CV wil trouw blijven aan de geest van het origineel en tegelijkertijd zijn ontworpen voor de toekomst: volledig elektrisch, gemaakt in Europa en betaalbaar voor \u20ac 15.000.<\/p>\n

DS F3VER<\/h5>\n

De DS F3VER, een designgericht concept, verkent de toekomst van DS Automobiles; \u201chet wil samenbrengen wat maar al te vaak los van elkaar staat: compromisloze aantrekkelijkheid, personalisatie en veelzijdigheid.\u201d Gebaseerd op deze drie pijlers \u201cbreekt de DS F3VER met conventies om nieuwe mogelijkheden te verkennen en gevestigde normen uit te dagen. Een gedurfde uitdrukking van de richting waarin DS Automobiles zich begeeft: onderscheidender, aantrekkelijker en gedurfder.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiat Multiplay<\/h5>\n

De Fiat Multiplay heeft als doel mobiliteit voor een nieuw tijdperk opnieuw vorm te geven en onderzoekt hoe een voertuig zich naadloos kan aanpassen aan de veranderende behoeften van het moderne leven. Door de veelzijdigheid van een pick-up te combineren met het comfort en de flexibiliteit van een SUV, daagt hij traditionele autocategorie\u00ebn uit via een configureerbare architectuur die is ontworpen met de mens en gedeelde ervaringen als uitgangspunt.<\/p>\n

Ge\u00efnspireerd door de destijds baanbrekende Multipla (1998) biedt de Multiplay \u201ceen gedurfde visie op de toekomst van Fiat, waarbij toegankelijkheid,
\n\u201dinclusiviteit en innovatie combineren om mobiliteit opnieuw vorm te geven.\"<\/p>\n

Opel STX Concept<\/h5>\n

De Opel STX Concept presenteert een visie op de stationwagens van de toekomst en toont een gedurfder, zuiverder en nog emotioneler Duits ontwerp. De nieuwe Opel Vizor-verlichtingssignatuur, in combinatie met de strakke, naar beneden aflopende achterkant, geeft een voorproefje van de volgende generatie ontwerptaal van het merk, met elementen die in toekomstige productiemodellen zullen terugkeren.<\/p>\n

Peugeot RCZ Vision<\/h5>\n

De PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is een merkmanifest \u201cdat de meest vooruitstrevende visie tot nu toe op de toekomst van Peugeot biedt, waarbij design en
\n\u201dTechnologie ten dienste van rijplezier.\u201c De RCZ Vision, gebouwd op het STLA One-platform, maakt gebruik van nieuwe steer-by-wire-technologie. Het model biedt een voorproefje van de volgende generatie van de Peugeot-rijervaring, met name dankzij Hypersquare\u00ae en een geheel nieuwe Peugeot i-Cockpit. \u201dHij belichaamt Peugeots visie op hoogwaardige en effici\u00ebnte elektrische mobiliteit\u201c, aldus de fabrikant.<\/p>\n

Comeback in Europa<\/h4>\n

Terwijl de technomuziek op volle kracht klonk, paradeerden zes conceptauto\u2019s over een podium dat was ingericht als een modecatwalk, compleet met een pirouette aan het einde. Vrijwel alle topmanagers van Stellantis waren aanwezig, waaronder voorzitter John Elkann, CEO Antonio Filosa, Europa-baas Emanuele Cappellano, de CEO\u2019s van de verschillende merken en ontwerpers.<\/p>\n

Beleggers hebben Stellantis de afgelopen jaren gemengde beoordelingen gegeven, en sommigen hebben de autofabrikant naar een lagere rating teruggebracht. Onder leiding van Filosa is de omzet weer aangetrokken, maar de marges blijven flinterdun. Hij heeft een geleidelijk herstel beloofd, waarbij elk kwartaal verbetering zal laten zien.<\/p>\n

Analisten van Bernstein in de VS zeiden dat de op drie na grootste autofabrikant ter wereld nog moet bewijzen dat het herstel zich vertaalt in meer kopers. Zij stelden dat de recente omzetstijgingen eerder te danken waren aan grotere leveringen aan dealers om de voorraden aan te vullen dan aan een sterkere vraag van consumenten.<\/p>\n

Felipe Munoz van Car Industry Analysis vertelde Automotive News dat Stellantis een concurrerender assortiment elektrische modellen nodig heeft om de snelle expansie van Chinese autofabrikanten het hoofd te bieden. \u201cZe moeten laten zien dat ze nog steeds meedoen\u201d, aldus Munoz. \u201cStellantis heeft het moeilijk gehad, maar ze spelen nog steeds een belangrijke rol in Europa en moeten hun positie verdedigen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Natuurlijk zullen de productiemodellen van al deze concepten pas na 2028 op de weg verschijnen (als ze al verschijnen). Voorlopig is hun belangrijkste doel wellicht om te laten zien hoe Stellantis zijn Europese merken van elkaar onderscheidt, waarvan sommige qua marktpositionering \u2013 zo niet qua geografische spreiding \u2013 elkaar overlappen.<\/p>\n

Een in mei aangekondigde reorganisatie<\/a> Peugeot en Fiat werden aangewezen als de belangrijkste wereldwijde groeimerken van de groep, die het grootste deel van de investeringen in Europa zullen ontvangen. Opel en Citro\u00ebn zullen zich meer op de regionale markt richten, terwijl DS onder de hoede van Citro\u00ebn komt te staan en Lancia onder die van Fiat.<\/p>\n

Cappellano zei dat het belangrijk was om elk merk te versterken en te onderscheiden, en voegde eraan toe dat Stellantis tegen 2030 meer dan 50 modellen in Europa op de markt zal brengen, waaronder facelifts en nieuwe modellen. Hij zei dat de marktdekking met 20% zou toenemen.<\/p>\n

Tegelijkertijd zullen nieuwe platforms zoals STLA One en E-Car de kosten verlagen, en zal een betere benutting van de productiecapaciteit dankzij samenwerkingsovereenkomsten met partners zoals Leapmotor en Dongfeng hieraan bijdragen.<\/p>\n
