De Model 3 sedan, het op \u00e9\u00e9n na populairste model van Tesla na de Model Y SUV, krijgt een update. Geen ingrijpende veranderingen zoals bij de \u2018Highland\u2019-update drie jaar geleden, maar kleine verbeteringen zonder prijsverhoging.<\/p>\n

De updates zouden kunnen worden gezien als een manier om \u2018voorop te blijven lopen\u2019, aangezien <\/span>Tesla <\/span>lijkt goed op dreef te zijn. Ook in Europa lijkt Tesla weer op het goede spoor te zitten, na een periode waarin het merk negatief werd waargenomen. Tesla boekte in tal van landen een sterke stijging van het aantal registraties, tegen de achtergrond van hoge olieprijzen en stijgende\u00a0De totale verkoop van elektrische auto's<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Belgi\u00eb staat het merk na de eerste drie kwartalen van 2026 op de twaalfde plaats in het algemeen klassement, met een marktaandeel van 3,32%. In negen maanden tijd werden in Belgi\u00eb maar liefst 10.644 Tesla's geregistreerd, een stijging van 43,35% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar.<\/p>\n

Maar de Belgische Tesla-cijfers voor de maand september alleen al zijn nog indrukwekkender: een derde plaats in het algemeen klassement, achter BMW en Mercedes, met 2.352 geregistreerde auto\u2019s (+129.02%) en een maandelijks marktaandeel van 7.32%.<\/p>\n

Ondertussen, <\/span>het bedrijf<\/span> is in<\/span> besprekingen met Europese wetgevers om zijn semi-autonome \u2018Full Self Driving\u2019-systeem toe te staan, nu omgedoopt tot \u2018Tesla Assisted Driving\u2019<\/a>. <\/span>Dit zou een belangrijke doorbraak zijn, aangezien de betaaloptie een terugkerend maandelijks inkomen zou opleveren.<\/span><\/p>\n

In het interieur zorgt de update voor een groter centraal scherm. Het scherm wordt vergroot van 15,4 naar 16 inch en de resolutie wordt verbeterd van 1.920 x 1.080 naar 2.560 x 1.440. De interieurafwerking blijft zwart bij de basisversies, maar de witte optie bij de \u2018Premium\u2019- en \u2018Performance\u2019-modellen verandert in \u2018Zen Grey\u2019.<\/p>\n

Kleine technische verbeteringen, ook voor de Model Y<\/b><\/h4>\n

Technisch gezien zorgt de update voor een grotere actieradius bij het \u2018Performance\u2019-model. Het kan nu 600 kilometer afleggen op een volle acculading, tegenover 571 km voorheen. De actieradius van de \u2018Long Range AWD\u2019 is ongewijzigd, maar hij accelereert nu sneller van 0 naar 100 km\/u: 4 seconden in plaats van 4,4.<\/p>\n

De cijfers voor de andere versies blijven ongewijzigd. Het standaardmodel met achterwielaandrijving heeft onlangs zijn actieradius vergroot tot 572 km door de Bridgestone-banden te vervangen door Giti Control P10-banden met lage wrijving. De Model 3 Long Range loopt nog steeds voorop in de Model 3-reeks wat betreft actieradius, met 750 km op een volle accu.<\/p>\n

De Model Y Premium Long Range AWD krijgt een vergelijkbare technische update, waarbij de acceleratietijd van 0 naar 100 daalt van 4,8 naar 4,6 seconden.<\/p>\n
